This route was downgraded by Adam Ondra to a 8c+ (5.14c) after all of this. So sad 😐
I think he onsighted this route and Golden Ticket 14c to the right of it, on the same day. You gotta remember he grew up on sandstone and I think these fit his style really well. Still epic!

for bouldering you still need a good spotter, someone you can trust.
I noticed something weird about bouldering competitions there a men's and women's route but in a gym and in nature there isn't men's and womens routes just one
a climber is nothing without a great belayer!
those movements only apply to certain moves, in person this wall is really steep and the route is really just a bunch of crimpy boulder problems so its not efficient to use the outer edge and drop knee. Flagging is used commonly in the gym because you only have a limited amount of footholds, on real rock there's usually a better option than to flag

Sasha still calls it 9a to this day, and still claims to be the best climber in the world. She recently said she could easily win a gold medal in the 2020 Olympics but she's going to not compete and let someone else win... she's just that nice

The crux I would say is... the whole damn thing.
Woman don't climb more technical than men. They have slightly less relative strength than men and so female (top) climbers look somewhat more delicate in their execution. But technique is not the limiting factor for either men or women. Otherwise it would mean that with better technique, men could climb harder routes than they currently do. Are you suggesting that?

Right I can see now it is not such a large fall, still I recon about 4 meters - a little over the average (but than again if you trust someone with rather limited leading overhangs experience outdoors :p ).
hardToSignUpHere I saw a video in which Chris Sharma, after completing a hard route, kept telling the belayer to give more and more slack so that he could fall faaaaaaar. Damn adrenaline junkies ^^
