Hey smoove I was drafted 10th to the Hornets. I noticed that they have a big rebound problem (Aminu has the highest grade, B+) and I decided that it would be smartest to trade for a rebounding center (and lucky me, he was also a defensive stud). I asked the GM for Tyson Chandler. All it cost us was some nobody SG who was rated like 58 and a first round pick. Best trade of all time. Prob won't end up with same results but it can never hurt to try.
On the Slam Dunk contest, it depends on what dunks you do and how many you get right. Some dunks that I do is the double spin, Soccer flip, and Stuck on you
I'm having an amazing season, playing as well as you (though our record is worse, 32-18 I think, not sure) and I didn't even get invited to the All-Star game. Though I did start in the Rising Star Challenge, where the linups said one thing but then Kenneth Faried ended up being Starter on both teams because he's such a boss. So I think you're right in saying it is pretty glitchy.

I played against a guy online complaining that before the patch he used to get like 13-14 steals a game with CP3, but now he couldn't do it anymore because its always a reach. That's why I think it's worth it to have it like it is now, so people can't cheese like that.

I think it's based on your attributes, you know how the 3 point shooter have the 3 by their name. it's the same way. As soon as you have enough significant attributes high enough you get the star.
during all star week if your an all star, you either play in all star game or dunk contest or else 3 point of all star or 3 point and dunk contest you can only do two things the 3 point shootout is kinda weird lmfao you have to trigger the release faster..
I was wondering if you have any suggestions. I have a 6 foot 10 PF on the nuggets with 90 vertical, 95 dunk, highlight film, and posterizer. My guy won't dunk any wide open alley oops. He also won't dunk practically at all. Do I need to get my strength up over 80 or my hands up over 70,( which they are already at)

slam dunk contest is actually the easiest ... before you enter it play minigame first, choose the 3 dunks that give the highest scores. I was selected in the slam dunk contest for 5 straight contest and won it all. In the all star game in my 6th year. I was not a starter but i was in the game 23 minutes
i have the same problem. i have played over 30 games and im still the SG. you might be able to be the starting PG if you ask for a trade, i have not tried this so im not sure if it works, but its just an idea

sound like your comin down with a cold. the three point contest is greatish, i dont have a button lag bu the dunk contest is HORRIBLE, ive never been able to beat it in my career. i always get like a 42 and the CPU gets in the 80s
i won the dunk contest but i was practicting on it. (you know,game mode-all star-dunk contest) and i dont know if that really matters but i am playing on superstar.and the dunks that i used was cartwheel,360 windmill and jumping over 4 people
You don't get a steal anymore by ripping it out of the A.I's hands without a foul but if you shade to the offence's off-hand and try to poke it, sometimes they'll drop it if they have a poor ballsecurity attribute. but most of the time they'll call a foul if you reach more than twice a possession. :)
Just a question about mycareer. I want to by the +3 medium sleeve for my PF. He already has a maxed out mid range shot. Will the sleeve take my rating to 88 or will it just stay at 85?

did you pick a dunk package? In my career go on equip upgrade and make sure you have dunk packages. You can buy dunks with VC too.
