Seriously, a life saver of a video. I knew the bumper had to come off, but I didn’t think it would be that easy. I’ll be doing this myself in a little while. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback!
This video was extremely helpful. I’m confident that I could do it myself. Thanks again guy!!!
This was very helpful you saved me a lot of trouble! Thanks for the video! 😎👍
Video was very helpful. I just swapped out for aftetmarket headlights on my 2010. I also cheated a little and left the bottom bumper cover fasteners in place. I found the cover flexed enough to do the swap. Anyway, Thanks!!!
My replacement headlight assemblies just arrived so I will be doing this in a couple days. Thank you for this video!
This was very helpful! I’m my own machanic and I have an 08 police Dodge Charger with the same lights and needed the right way to replace. Thanks for the video!!
Thank you, i finally changed the headlights of my charger. Very clear instructions. Was a royal pain and took a few hours but got it done. Thanks again
this is by far the best tutorial I've found on youtube, thank you!
Martin, your videos are excellent. I just came back from the junk yard and was able to get all the parts I needed after learning how to take them out because of your videos. Thanks a bunch for helping others save money.
Welp, there goes my whole day off. Thanks Dodge. 🙄
Thanx Marty Mar... You are an inspirational genius. I really appreciate You illustrating at normal Speed, as one would do considering that installations should be done for 'Dummies ' ( like myself. I'm an author, I have zero mechanical skills)
Much appreciative of You doing both sides which also gives the novice a chance to remember previously. Unlike other videos that go at warp speed like you possess their aptitude. I mean it Marty Mar, you make me know that I can tackle this, alone, but should I need any assistance, You are the only one that I will refer to, for any of my mechanical needs. Thanx for your help and for being a true professional
Excellent video, the best I've seen on this topic. Just the facts, along with helpful tips, and no extra chatter. Good camera angles too, and good editing.
Just bought myself new headlights for Christmas and forgot that the entire nose cone had to come off. This video helped. I plan on doing it tomorrow.
nose cone?
@@logan-nc1hg chargers dont just have a front bumper. It goes over the headlights and all the way up to the hood, so people commonly call it a nose cone.
Awesome video. I’ve watched it twice now. Super helpful, Months ago I Dropped about $1000 on Spyder headlights, fog lights, tail lights and a lumen led conversion kit. Finally tackling it today, not too worried about the bumper removal after seeing this. Haha , more or less the task of wiring every thing up correctly!
Appreciate it man. I got back early and my buddies still deployed and I'm in charge of fixing his headlights 😂
Excellent Job Explaining~ Thank You!!!
Great video guys! I couldn’t remember the socket sizes. The days are shorter and I’ve been putting this off for months. I have the projector type headlights and one of the ballasts blew due to water getting into the cracked housing. The ballast is attached to the bottom side of the housing with four small screws. Amazon sells an awesome kit with plastic clips and a removal tool for about ten bucks. Anyway, thanks for the video, now I can get off my ass!
Very informative video. Thanks guy.
Awesome Video! Thx for the much needed insight! 😊
Great job... Greetings from Mexico.
Thank you VERY much!! Detailed, and straight to the point! Job well done!!
Gonna be getting after market headlights so this helps a lot
thank you so much this video was so helpful you explain everything I needed to do. thanks
Absolutely awesome video
Nice! Thx
Thank you for this.
I Appreciate this video. Wife has a 07 Charger and Im about to change them
Very helpful….but I’m gonna leave foggy headlights….unless you wanna do the job for me! Ha!
Hey man I greatly appreciate your video !
No problem!
Hey Martin,Thanks for Your Video!!! Extremely Helpful... and to the Point! My Dodge is Actually Identical to the One Your working On, and Doesn't have the Fog Light Feature Which I wanted to Add. After watching Your Video, I'm Confident NOW.. To go Forward, and Install some of those Babies IN!!! Thanks Again Brother!!! Hey, Anyone Ever Tell Ya, You Resemble Don Johnson a Lil Bit, Smh.. Nice
I’m glad the video will help you! Sometimes the bolts from the fender to the bumper can be tough to reach. Just be patient and take your time. Also, you are the second person to say I resemble Don Johnson. Thanks!
Nice work!!
Thanks this was very helpful
Thanks for the video. I bought aftermarket headlights for my 09 charger but they both the light and the signal light are one piece and I cannot put back the bumper as a result (there is a lip that needs to go under the headlight. Do you have any idea how to go around this and install the bumper again? Thanks
Good job...when you adjust the headlight beam pattern...does that require a Phillip's or a torx? I saw you mention a Phillip's and the forums say a torx, just curious...let me know thank you
Could you do a video on how to replace the fog lights? That’d be great!
Ahhh.... WHAT VIDEO R U WATCHING??? THIS IS THE CHANGING OUT OF FOG LIGHT'S Lmaoooo
Ge Tatum no it’s not? This is how to change a whole headlight assembly?
I just changed my fog lights super easy 2 bolts and they pop out and u insert the new ones I did it on my lunch break at work yesterday 15 mins tops
Do you have to adjust the beam pattern in the new housing?
Do you have any advice about putting the bumper back on ?
This is great.
Thank you
Thanks for the help! I really wish I didn’t have to pull my entire bumper off just to swap my halogens to LED’s
very good
Its also easier if u use the pry bar screw driver where its got the slot in the middle not just for perforamnce but also makes sure not to damge ur clips

What size socket for the last nut
Can I put a 06 on a 07 front bumper
Just changed mine in 40 minutes

E X T R A N U T
Dank_Crusad3r LMAO
that fender nut is the biggest pain in the ass that i’ve experienced, i’m removing my wheels to better get to it
How difficult was it to get the bumper back on? Mine is rather tight by each wheel and won’t slide in.
Try standing in the middle of the car and placing the bumper on from that position. Line up all the holes at the top where the clips go, and then it should slide in easier on the sides. It might take you a few tries to get it in perfectly.
One of the good how to videos on youtube! No bouncy camera or muffled speech! Thanks.
Hey,What size are the screws at 5:03 that hold in the headlights ?
8mm screws holding the light in place.
wow all that to change a Headlight assembly dang
I have one 2007 I can put another grill and put lights from another of the same brand but more new🤔🤔
If they are prone to collect water go ahead and drill a drain hole at the bottom so it can drain out and not corrode over again.
How long would it take to do this? A couple hours?
Yes, it will take a few hours.
Do I have to remove the black panel
The bottom wash plate will have to be removed. Ours did not have one.
Holy crap. All that just to replace a couple headlights? Dodge should have designed that better.
They did. They designed it to go to the shop for easy stuff.lol
Around 3:38 in the video do anybody knows what kind of socket did he use for the socket wrench for that bolt?
10mm socket.
Bro I can’t get the wheel well clips off
Pry tool helps. Pull the plug, then the rivet. The plugs on half my rivets fell apart when I tried to remove them from the hood, and I ended up ripping them out with some pliers. None of the rivets holding the bumper to the wheel well were reusable. You can get replacements on Amazon super cheap. Just look up GOOACC.
You aint really wrenching on your car unless your knuckles bloody
Yep, at 5:36 to 5:38, it was bloody buckle time. The bare bumper is sharp.
I love dodge but they screwed up on this. It could’ve been made so much easier.
goddam all that just to change the light x.x
very helpful video, but good god what a poor design the chargers have.
It took me three hours it’s not hard just tedious
What a nightmare!
Anyone else think this is the dumbest way to have to remove your headlights? I love my charger but god dang.
