Despite the sound quality was not ideal, as a long time fan of Solstafir I am really grateful for this opportunity to dig deeper on the split with Gummi. This was long time due. Yes, you had the official band's management statement, etc, but it always sounded so vague and corporate BS to me. When I found out about what had happened with Gummi a few months after on his blog, I was gutted for a while. I mean this was at that time (and still is I guess), the greatest band in my life, because their sound ressonates with me at such a personal level. At that time I felt like: "Fuck! No way! Of all the bands in the world, why did this shit had to happen to these guys?". I totally understand Addi's position of not washing dirty laundry publicly. It was their shit and it was personal. But I never felt ok on having a deeply personal account of events from one side and then just some corporate BS from the other side. I needed this more personal perspective from Addi's and the rest of the guys as well to have some sort of closure on this divide. And your interview has finally provided me that.
