In today's video, I'm bringing you guys a crazy video on the brand new Pokemon games that came out on the Nintendo Switch, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! I cannot believe I got a shiny so fast on Pokemon Violet, it only took me two hours after the game came out to find this shiny pokemon and I have my reaction to finding my first shiny here for you guys! I was streaming Pokemon Violet right when it came out, and was just exploring while playing Scarlet and Violet for my first time, and I ended up running into a shiny Toxel super fast! I'm so happy that Generation 9 of pokemon is here, and I'm planning on making so much content on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! Including things like scarlet and violet shiny hunting, shiny pokemon reactions, shiny pokemon fails, shiny montages, shiny hunting tutorials, and so on! Hopefully soon when we find out all the shiny hunting methods on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet I can make a video on how to shiny hunt in Scarlet and Violet or how to get fast shiny pokemon on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! I wish they kept the shiny sparkles so you can find the shiny easier, now imagine your exploring and you fly over a shiny haunter, your never gonna know that thing was shiny until you see it face to face.
Agreed! Just some sort of indication would be nice in case you didn't know what the shiny looked like vs the normal!

This was my exact reaction when I found my first scarlet shiny Kirlia. Thankfully it didn't go for teleport 😅. Now I have a fancy new Gardevoir on my team

So idk if you noticed when you open your menu to access your Pokémon look at the bottom where it says Auto Heal. Instead of using up your potions in the wild just open the menu and auto heal your Pokémon. It won’t take away status affects or revive them but it will fill their HP bar for FREE every time!! Lol
I don’t think it’s totally for free, I’m pretty sure it uses ur potions in the bag, but just does it quickly for you!
Somehow I ended up in the sea with the dragon types and my squad was like level 30-40 and I found a level 50 shiny Dratini and caught it I was so happy

My game crashed and I didn’t have auto save on so I lost like half of my progress but the moment I hopped back on there was a shiny rockruff waiting for me

If you just roam around an area can you basically find a shiny eventually? Or do you have to get out of that area completely and then go back? Like do the pokemon respawn in when you are moving around to have a chance of shiny?
Yes! You don’t have to totally leave the area, once Pokemon are removed from ur screen that counts as then despawning, so you can just run around a certain area large enough for the Pokémon to get off your screen, and all the spawns will be new after that. No need to go super far, just far enough till you can’t see them (which isn’t that far)
Toxel was my first shiny too first hour of the game I was looking at a area I could t get to but it got close enough to where I could fight it and caught it lol

I literally got a first time shiny encounter when I first started a few hours ago and the pokemon was the new taroantula pokemon. It looks pretty cool to be honest.

Congrats!! I got three shinies this morning, just from random wild encounters while I was hatching eggs for masuda method…. I wonder if there is some trick to that or if I just got really lucky.

I had only beat the first gym and the first titan and I was trying to get to a certain area and found a shiny Toxtricity! It was lvl 40 and I was around lvl 25. And I caught it on the first Pokéball

The base odds are 1/4096, and you can get odds as good as 1/500~ with things like shiny charm, masuda hunting, and outbreaks!

Tbh scarlet and violet is one of the greatest pokemon games I've ever played. It's like sword and shield combined with legends access tho.
