I’m planning a trip to Slovenia Julian alps very soon and this video is very informative as I haven’t done much research myself. I can see you followed Rick Steve’s guide which is great. Thank you for making this video!

If we have time, we try to do as much research as we can before visiting a new place - knowing the history helps make a place come to life and gives it more meaning. We don't always have time to research, but we do what we can to learn about where we're going. We had so much fun exploring Slovenia and hope to visit again in the future. Thanks for watching!

The scenery blew us away! We wish we had planned to spend more time in Slovenia because we loved every minute of our time there!

It’s hard to choose but I’ve never done rafting, so I’d love to try it. The canyoning looks amazing too!

Lovely video, Karin and Jeremy! Your voice is so nice and soothing to listen to. I am looking for reliable car rental for my trip. Which company did you rental your car from, and do you recommend it?

We rented from Hertz at the airport in Ljubljana and had a great experience with them. They were easy to work with and the car we received was really nice. We highly recommend taking photos or videos of the car when you first get it to document the current state of the car. And then more photos or videos when you drop it off so you have proof of the condition you left it. This applies to any car rental company you choose. Hope this helps you plan! Thanks for watching!

It s the second largest. The first is Vikersund, Norvay.

Thanks for watching! According to some research, both Vikersund and Letalnica bratov Gorišek in Slovenia are both 240m, so they are tied for being the largest ski jumping hills. Thanks for letting us know about Vikersund in Norway, it looks fantastic! We will be heading to Norway later this year, if we're near Vikersund, we'll be sure to check it out!

You was not accidentally in Italy. This is Slovenian Road to our part Goriška brda. This road is not from EU time. This was also in Yugoslavia time. After Wwii Italia got small part of Solkan hill. And so this little part cross this road.
