Thanks for the revierw. A couple of things: the ace pro has a shooting mode for vertical. Its called freeframe. Its one of the menu settings. I use this camera for all of my sports, including road and mountain biking. Also stand up padding. I consider myself a good cyciist but I never dismount my camera while cycling. I use two cameras that has quick adjustable features. Be careful out there!

Free frame is great, but it's personally not wide enough for proper vertical usage when shooting horizontal! If you look at my two recent Instagram reel, they where shot on the 360 X3 and they are just so good!

I just bought an DJI Action 4, had a lot of problems with my GoPro 8 (a lot of corrupt files even if changes sd-cards) so didn't want to another GoPro so was deciding between a DJI Action 4 and and Insta360 Ace Pro but the size and price difference was what made me go with the DJI. Nonetheless I think they are both great camera's without the problems of the GoPro.

With my ace pro I shoot in free frame most of the time. When I go to edit I can then choose horizontal or vertical sometimes even using both.
