I was going to say the same thing. Except I would point out the DZ would almost never be on the actual airfield itself. Not in a situation like that anyway. You can't have people landing next to shilkas, lmfao. That's no good. I was at Ft. Bragg from 2008 to 2011, btw. 4/73 Cav 4th BCT 82nd. Overall, I'd say they did a pretty decent job, but if they're going for realism, they should include the hour long LGoPs all finding each other in the dark to ask if anyone knows where 'x unit' is over and over until they finally see their units buzzsaw or whatever other rally signal. Then the additional 30min to an hour pulling security waiting for everyone else to come in. Then the final ruck, before securing the objective. I guess my point is that they left out all the really sh*tty parts of a JFEX. All those freezing nutsacks and lots of waiting around. People stuck in trees, etc. Maybe someone could make a realism mod for that? lmfao
@@nicholasvalentine9749 I've realized looking back how crazy it is that so much of that was just experienced as day-to-day work, and nothing really special.
