I recently got paid out my long service leave, and wanted to reward myself for seven hard years at the company that I left. For ages I was browsing for an E90 M3 and then happened to stumble on this video. Played it on repeat the whole time I was on site. Went looking on carsales, and bought myself a sprint blue B7 RS4 the next time I was home! Best purchase I've made in a while! And this video is a large reason I went looking for one.
Jesus f christ 1.the b7 rs4 is just as attractive today if not more than the day it came out. 2. Best exhaust system period 3. You know how to actually shoot car videos...honestly this is intro to goldeneye...ronin worthy. Make more Cheers

I guess it's subjective..I have my pre-cats straight piped, twin resonator boxes replaced with H-pipe and the rear mufflers deleted, all I have is the two main Cats.. And I think it sounds pretty good. Had a guy in an RS5 flag me down to ask what I had done, it sounded better than his RS. But granted it mightn't be to everyone's taste. Hard to find the holy grail of that V8 sound 😉
@@mach1743 yea and the 4.2 in the rs5 sounds way raspyer than s5/rs4. But i think the S5 should have darker sound like the B7 rs4. My s5 sounds like a V6 on steroids, dont get me wrong😂 but its true..
I really like the Audi 4.2 V8, but it's a weird engine really super revvy, quite small displacement for a V8 with DOHC. So you'd be like this is a flat plane crank engine surely then it's like, nah cross plane. 😂 Makes no fucking sense at all. But neither does the Audi 5.2 90 degree odd fire V10.. Or the VR5, VR6 or W12 that the VW group engineers came up with. They were all on crack.
