hey hey! Yes you can speak hochdeutsch in Zurich. However, I heard a lot of swiss germans prefer to speak English over standard german, though I can't speak on their behalf! I'm only in A1, but that would be a dream to eventually speak german in my videos.! :O

English is my native language and with German I would say I am definitely comfortable speaking, reading, and writing. :) I have been learning German 6 or 8 months now. I will be gifted a German englisch Dictionary for Christmas! I am so excited!! It will definitely help my German skyrocket!!!! I know a lot of vocabulary already but there is certain topics I do not know of. I’m sorry if my English is not the best. 😅😅 sometimes I feel German be wanting to take over my brain. 😂😂😂 German be like : Go away Englisch. English be like:😶😶😶 GERMAN FOR THE WIN!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 I love German so much that I do not want to learn any dialect. ☺️☺️☺️
