  • I just finished reading an amazing book - Sacred Medicine, A Doctor’s Quest to Unravel the Mysteries of Healing. And in today’s episode I’m talking with the author, Dr. Lissa Rankin. Lissa spent several years globetrotting the world to understand healing and bridge the gap between traditional and alternative medicine. From healers, to shamans to ancient rituals and energy healing, she really took a deep dive with a desire to understand how it all works. Whether you’re in the traditional medicine camp or prescribe to the holistic, alternative camp, I think this episode will open your eyes up to the both the light and shadows that exist in both worlds and how to craft your own healing journey with your eyes wide open. Plus, you’ll hear my story about how I tried an energy healing method the night before this conversation and what happened to me! Listen in now…
    Topics Include:
    - Lissa's incredible journey to the work she is doing today
    - Overcoming the polarization of conventional medicine and alternative therapies
    - Some of the stories and healing methods described in her book
    - Encounters with healers in Bali
    - Creating her revolutionary book, "Heal at Last"
Lissa Rankin, MD, is a mind-body medicine physician, author of 7 books, founder of the Whole Health Medicine Institute, and mystic who researches radical remission, trauma-informed medicine, and spiritual healing. Her TEDx talks have been viewed over 5 million times, and she starred in two National Public Television specials- Heal Yourself: Mind Over Medicine and The Fear Cure. Lissa’s interest in the link between loneliness and disease led her to spearhead her latest project, Heal At Last, a non-profit organization which aims to bring effective trauma healing and spiritual healing methods to anyone ready for the deep dive of healing.

Very disturbed by your screwed ideas around vaccines… very very naive and disrespectful to those of us who have been injured or have injured children..
You really need to do your research about which cultures are making the most money in the US, and it’s not all white men..

If I hear that all white men are privileged one more time, I am going to scream. Other than that, interesting discussion.

Wow, this is bizarre. She is glad to be rid of those who declined coersion to take an experimental drug? Where was she when the unvaccinated were being shamed and ostracised?
Serious blindspot here in her analysis
