- Dragonball Z Burst limit, while a great game in its own right, was never known for being much of a singleplayer experience. Thats why after only a few videos we have come to the end of the games story mode offerings with special chapters about both Bardock and Broly!

It's a action cutscene that you have to get if doing the right thing but clearly hidden.. not unfinished..

The brief scene of Goku transforming was Super Saiyan 2 funnily enough considering the transformation isn't int he game for him. lol
They even just used Gohan’s SSJ2 hair since there was no time, like what was the point of even putting that in 😂
If you're confused Doto, the ending was Goku getting back up and transforming into SSJ2 which clearly indicated that if they made a sequel, they were gonna get into Buu Saga stuff which sadly never happened.
Or made it DLC 🤔 honestly it would've been pretty dope if this game got DLC

It’s nostalgia. A few cool cutscenes and ONE 10/10 fight (Goku vs. Frieza) doesn’t make up for a budget release with mid combat that doesn’t even go past the Cell Saga.

If Krillin actually locked in for once half of the villains would just straight up die and the Broly match reminded me of how much this bothers me to this day.
For real. It wasn't until Cell that it didn't work, as it cut off Frieza's tail the previous major villain.
But literally everyone prior he could have killed with a little planning.
@@ChaoticGoodPeasant23 it is NOT such a great technique. You really need to sneak the enemy for it to work. Goku made a great showcase of that when Frieza used his destructo disks, Goku was simply disappointed. It is really slow and easy to avoid.

I remember this being the last game I ever actually pre-ordered and I was always stumped as to why they chose to release this and Infinite World at the same time. With Burst Limit being the first "Next gen DBZ game" at the time, of course I went with it over Infinite World which looking back I wish I went the opposite because Infinite World was like the love letter finale to the Budokai series while Burst Limit was basically an unfinished game that Bandai Namco rushed hence why the game is missing a lot of major battles/moments and features a cutscene of SSJ2 Goku despite him not being playable in the game. Sucks because you can tell Dimps had much more planned for this game but had to cut it short to make the release deadline
SSJ2 Teen Gohan losing before Piccolo, SSJ Trunks, SSJ Vegeta & SSJ Goku was non sense

it's a little annoying that og dragon ball was the last time toriyama ever gave the human characters a real chance in a fight.

the worst part about ssj2 goku at the end is that you can't even play as him through modding, the model's just invisible in gameplay if you try to use it
there is way too much potential with this game that they completely squandered, even with them reusing assets from budokai 3 (animations and some maps like destroyed earth and the destroyed city map) the game is still heavily unfinished and rushed, and when you put it up against infinite world, which came out only a few months later and was the "apology" game for people who didn't own a PS3, being so much better than this game with so much more content, it just begs the question
why did they think that this was good enough to release? it's an impressive proof of concept, but it's pitiful for the first HD dragon ball game, I would love to know what went on behind the scenes with the development of this game because it can't be a good story
I agree that this is A LOT of Broly in story mode. Especially with the drama scenes, it drags down the game for me. The locations are beautiful though!

Can you do Coms battles because the ai on burst limit is coated. They are goated battles on com vs com max difficulty. You can do idiot vs idiot where you, rhyme or see can choose your fighter to represent you in the battle, and see who wins

Doto this game is a better rip off of shin Budokai so with characters like broly,krillin and ssj2 Gohan when you do their ultimates you probably have to press O for the extra attack also plz plz play shin Budokai and shin Budokai 2

Burst Limit was really fun except for the mini-cutscenes in the middle of the fights. Cool the first time, maybe. Afterwards really frustrating.
Doto burst limit was rushed thats why some thing look odd but overall is still a good game
Dimps had to give us what they had with it and ship it compared to what they had planned which was buu saga and possibly GT which is why goku went ssj2 against broly

I was watching DBZ for the first time through DBZ Kai and playing this game at the same time, so when they didnt include the Buu saga in the game nor the Nickelodeon Kai airing I just assumed the entire series ended after the Cell saga. it wasn't until after I graduated high school that I heard the name Buu and was like who the hell is that lmao
You know since Doto did beat Burst Limit... why not Raging Blast again or well... Battle of Gods. YEA, that game.
