I know a lot of people would disagree with me, but I think this song holds the most emotion of any piece from all the movies. I wish so badly this scene was longer. 💙
Personally I think Stoick's Ship is the most emotional and powerful, but I definitely see where you are coming from. There's so many different themes in this piece and it sums up the trilogy really well. This is one of my favorites!
@@nathancao1512 I totally see where you're coming from. Practically the whole last half of the second movie was arranged beautifully and was my favorite before this one came out. Though the third film itself had a lot of major problems for me, I felt the music was absolutely outstanding, and the last half of this song feels like such an incredible conclusion. I think John Powell wrote the ending better than the directors did.
The harshest lesson I've ever had to learn is that, sometimes, people just leave. Sometimes we have to say goodbye to those we love. Friends. Family. That's just life. Nothing is permanent. Like Stoick said, with love, comes loss. A thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It's beautiful because you know eventually, it'll wither away. But until then, you can love it fiercely. And when that awful day inevitably comes, let go. You have to. We have to be able to move on. But that doesn't mean we have to forget what we lost. We can hold on to the memories, and cherish them forever.
So beautiful. The first time I listened to it, I had to keep checking that I had saved this video to my playlist and I haven't stopped listening since. Keep up the good work!

@@CameronSnep the third movie had issues, but I think the biggest problem is that people didn't want it to end.
6:14 I love this whole score but these notes are just truly something
I agree!
I know I'm very attached to these movies cause just listening to this song made me bawl my eyes out.

“Goodbyes are not forever, they're a temporary farewell until we meet again. This is not goodbye, it's just a see you later.”
BRO THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL, PLEASE KEEP GOING

Oh no, here comes the tears again! This slowed version made it even more emotional. Any Kung Fu Panda tracks coming soon?
The HTTYD soundtracks are truly like no other. I'd say they're Star Wars level good! And that's definitely saying something.
masterpieces, if you ask me.
