As an American, the lower caliber resistance thing is a common misconception. We're actually resistant to higher calibers, like .50 BMG. We need the armor for the smaller ones like .22 or 9mm.

@@cripple8339 look up a 9mm vs a 5.56mm, infact you don't even need to, its in the name, The 9mm is NINE millimeters, whereas the 5.56mm is 5.56 millimeters, the 9mm will hit way fucking harder at under 50 meters where it has little to no velocity or jules loss, whereas, the 5.56mm round has much more penetration capability, so in stead of hitting you and spreading, its much more likey to just go all the way through.

Basically, don't do anything Reekid did here. Don't aim guns at yourself, especially not when it's loaded, don't try to flick a shotgun closed, always keep the safety on unless you're about to fire, keep the weapon pointed downrange at all times, and do not aim it at anything that you do not wish to be obliterated. Hopefully that was helpful to someone. By the way, VR games like H3VR here are actually really helpful for gun safety. You can try and build good habits in VR before going to an actual range.

American here, you are correct when it comes to bullet resistance, all a .50 BMG does to be is tear a tiny bit of skin, a 20MM does a little scrape of blood, still working on the 40MMs tho.
