Oh man what a trail . 🙌👍🏻. Amazing views. Maybe it’s time to change the leaf spring pads so u don’t get so much squeaking lol 😆 my bro took it to 88 and they replaced them completely free
Bro..you gotta do this trail if you're in the area. After Moab I grease all the areas where I think it was squeaking and no more squeak but that's not a bad idea to get those pads replace.
Michael, I am heading out to Moab and Canyonlands NP this October in my 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. I have never done any off roading like this. I plan to do Shafer Trail and Potash Rd, as well as Hurrah Pass and Chicken Corners. 2 questions: 1) Did you air down your tires on these trails? 2) Were you in 4H for both drives? Thanks for answering and your videos!! Love to watch your videos and adventures.
Hey man...you should be fine with having a 4x4...shafer trail and potash rd is really easy you can do it in 2wd. Hurrah pass to chicken corners is more technical with some rocky section but you really don't need 4lo...I was in 4h most of the trail. Shafer trail can be done in 2wd
I personally think it's doable...however if theres rain and snow might be another issue. But I saw many van on the trail that day and even a regular sedan.
Looks amazing. I'm jealous.
If you can...definitely a must see
Beautiful. On my list 😊
Definitely a must see

Really like the Shafer Trail, I typically do the opposite way you went when I go.
I think it has become my favorite trail in Utah because how beautiful the landscape is here. I still need to finish the last few miles haha
“Better help my wife before she gets mad!” 😂
haha

Michael, did you air down your tires for these trails?
@@stevegrant8976 Yes to around 20psi
Thank you Michael, much appreciated!!
@@stevegrant8976 No problem man...you will love this area.
Schafer was nice but we found that the switch backs and views on Mineral Bottom Road were just as epic and it was much less congested.
I like mineral bottom too for getting close to the water but the overlooks here is on another level with the many buttes you get to see on this trail.
Good stuff man! Did you get permit? Lol, that group is too much sometimes.
Thanks...you mean for the trail?
Photos and videos just don't do justice to those scenes. It's a must be there moment.
I agree...I've seen this trail so many time on YT but to see it in person is something else.
I've been down this road to moab in my Yota. Do you feel a sprinter 2500 4x4 (revel) would make it back there? Much appreciated

@Michael Tran it's been years since I've been down there. Thanks for the update!!
What do you film with ?
Honestly just my iPhone 11 and 13...mavic air 2 for drone footages
Do you think a Subaru is good for moderate off-roading? Everything else is pricey
I think most AWD with some clearance and a nice set of AT tires are more than capable for easy to mild trails.
