you're a massive help, this paper made me want to drop physics
If you still need help with A Level Physics, you should check out Alt Academy, we have a TON of resources, including video lessons, revision guides, 24/7 academic support, handwritten past paper solutions with explanations on each step, and we even have our instructors sit live every night and solve a timed past paper, explaining why they're taking each step.
This paper was torture.. But your humour really helps lighten stuff up.. subbed
Make me feel a lot better when i hear that the papers aren't usually this hard lol
🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭
with my upcoming year 12 mocks, your videos have been the greatest help in filling in where the mark scheme couldn’t. thank you so much! i also discovered the olympiads through your channel (my school is pretty disadvantaged so i didn’t know they were a thing) but i’ll def look into doing some of the early ones in year 13 :). thank you!!
Just revising this channel for the first time in a year after these practice paper videos carried my Physics A level last year.
you are the absolute goat at solving past papers, you're opinions on the questions make's me feel im not in the same boat, i really appreciate the way you teach!!

damn bro was grinding 2 months before AS exams respect
Thanks for uploading, btw this question at 13:56 is crazy, how on earth is this only 3 marks??? And the mark scheme available online is the biggest garbage I have seen, it gives no explanation whatsoever, your video actually shows the steps, something which the mark scheme should show also.
Isn't there a shorter way of doing this question, since
- you've got the value of d and λ from the previous question, so you can find a value of theta using that (theta = 23.4)
- there's a fixed horizontal distance of 15, and you have a value of theta, and you want to find the opposite length, so 15 x tan23.4 = 6.5 then 30/6.5 = 4.616... = 4 so greatest number of spots is 4
had that moments question in my mock last year and the invigilators didn't have protractors was fun
wait... you are meant to use a protractor? so that's why i was so confused when he skipped the question loool. i was literally scratching my head at that one ffs
@@dizvo3008 yeah cause it's a (scale) diagram. I was confused about that as well. Pain in the bloody arse.
are leptons hadrons and mesons coming for the exam ?
can you cover magnetic field questions on physics and maths tutor, some questions I don't understand and would be useful to see how you managed to get your answers
are you going to do the 2022 paper any time soon?
hello I am in Y13 going back over AS papers first for paper 1 practise
wtf has happened
I feel like some of these questions are harder then the ones fouind on the actual y13 ones
True.
Do you have a video on AQA AS Level Physics - Specimen Set 2 Paper 1 7407/1 ?
I cant find a single video online on it
Used to, before AQA nearly got the channel obliterated for using their papers!
Why haven’t you done 2022 paper 1 yet ? Is it against aqa or something ?
Correct.
Are you videos mainly for higher? Because I’m taking higher tier and I watch your videos so just to be sure
This is an A level video but I guess most of it if not all will be higher on the gcse ones
i really struggled with this paper, my mocks are tommorow and as a year 12 i found it ridiculous
When will you go through 2022 and 2023!!!!
With Q5.1, the markscheme's answer is any answer in the range of 2x10^6 to 10x10^6. How on Earth do you get that?
And what is 10x10^6 the same as
@@ScienceShorts hi sir do you know when you will be making one of these for the as 2022 paper. Thank you for all the exam walkthroughs they help a lot.
@@ScienceShorts wow i'm shockingly disappointed with myself - thank you
can someone explain 4,1 more I just dont understand it
@@w9134 I am stupid never mind
Hi can you please do some more Edexel as papers including the sample and specimen ones thanks 🙌🙌
