Thanks! It's a special little instrument, I'm glad I grabbed it when I did (about 15 years ago) - I almost didn't b/c it's fretless - it is finally the fretless I committed to learning, because of where the dots on the side of the neck are
Thank you! This is definitely a cool little bass that I am fortunate to be the caretaker of. And it's almost as old as me! As close to a birth-year-bass as I'll probably ever get!
Beautifully played! I wouldn't mind hearing the whole 1969-83 Yes catalogue presented like this, as I often have trouble figuring out just what Chris was playing. Listening to the albums in 5.1 Surround helps a lot. John Entwistle was another speedy/complex player who has befuddled me, must look for some isolation videos of his bass parts too. Thanks!
Thanks! Definitely check out @miguelbass - he has a LOT of Chris Squire bass parts on his channel. There are also apps that now separate songs into individual tracks - I use Moises to remove the original bass part for my bass covers - it's something I've dreamed of for decades!
AWESOME!!!
Beautiful “Rickenbacker”!!
Excellent 😊 and thanks for letting it play out to the very end 😊respect 😊😎🙏💚
Beautiful playing there!!
Nicely done! Cool fretless too!
Thank you! This is the fretless I never knew I needed :) short scale, unlined, dots where the 3-5-7-9-12-etc. frets would be
@@hieronymous7 Sounds and looks really sweet!
VERY NICE! You nailed it! I love your fretless Guild

Awesome! Lovely bass as well.

How fun!
I saw the fretboard and got really excited for the slidey part! :)
I can't believe I listened to this song for decades and never realized it was on fretless!
