Mad props for the idea of sinking the rocks into the ground with the stairs that looks great! Can't wait to try to make a nice little path of rocks this way!
That is a great looking build. The greenhouse in particular is really cool. I love the way you have compartmentalised the various plants in the planters. Gives them a very structured look, as you might expect from a nursery.
Great build. I've seen a fee people do greenhouse type builds with the new set but I don't think I've seen anyone actually merge plants into the foundations. That turned out really good, especially the succulents. I like the small living space too. It fits into the vibe. The rock path did look cool at night too. The whole build was awesome. Thanks for sharing.
2:10 if you start with the foundations abit higher, when you go to pick them up they'll stay in place instead of popping back towards you🙂 good content so far 👍
There are only a few free in-game plant options, like the Potted Plants plans with can be found around in containers or via workshops: fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Plan:_Potted_plants. Otherwise, there are a few options in the Atomic Shop that cycle through occasionally, so keep an eye out for those, or you can submit a request to Bethesda support to get some as well: help.bethesda.net/#en/home/product/1129/category/14. Select your platform, then "I need help with the Atomic Shop" then "Yes" then "I want to purchase an Atomic Shop item for myself" (keep in mind you need to have the Atoms in your account in order to actually make the purchase). Hope that helps!
Basically what you do is place down what you want to merge, grab the foundation and place it on an incline (small hill). Then, stand on the foundation, select and grab the foundation and drag it toward you up the incline a little bit then let it go. The items will then drop down into the foundation. It takes some getting used to, but it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. There are some YT videos that demonstrate it too, just search for foundation merge.
Really nice build ❤ Its not too much or less. Everything you need nice placed. Im a really crap builder and hope you don't mind if I copy a lot of it ;). Thank you!!
Merging items (like the plants) into the foundation can be done using a nearby hill. Here's a good tutorial: ruclips.net/video/IUDS0a1GmBY/видео.html. Basically, put the items you want onto the foundation, then grab it and drag it under you while standing on a slope/incline. If you do it right, the items will sink into the foundation. It takes a few tries to get it right. You can also use hills to merge items onto shelves and tables too, but most people use the pressure plate trick instead. The purifier is actually way easier...you just remove the foundation, place the purifier and then replace the foundation. The foundation will just let it clip through for some reason. Some floor items (like brambles in some of my other builds) can be placed under foundations like that too. I used that trick in my Scavenger Shack build: ruclips.net/video/nCH92KImNvo/видео.html. Hope that helps!
Hey, first of all really cool work! I have a question about the power grid in the greenhouse on the ceiling. How did you please get the power cable to the pipes with the lamps? Would love to integrate that into my greenhouse too! Greetings and thanks from Apalachia
Hey, thanks! Are you talking about the power connectors? There's actually no power running through them, it was basically for aesthetics and to hang the color lights. You can see around 17:44 that the power lines are hooked up directly to the color lights, not the pipes. Does that answer your question? Happy to elaborate more if you need me to!
hmm, I guess just make sure you're using the color cycling lights...they require a power connection unlike the standard bulb. Can you try powering them somewhere else to see if maybe there's an issue with the way you have it laid out now?
Oh, it's super easy! All I did was remove the foundation, placed the water purifier where I wanted it, then replaced the foundation. For whatever reason, the foundation doesn't care that it's there as long as it can snap to the adjacent foundations. Hope that helps!
Is that how you also merged the plants into the foundations, I was trying to think how you would've done it? Awesome build loved the merged stash and scrapper boxes too, might have to try that one myself, cheers for all the cool ideas :)
@@gwenaitken244 To merge things into a foundation, you just need a sloped hill. Put the items you want to merge onto the foundation and then pull the foundation under you using the hill. Here's a good tutorial on how to do that: ruclips.net/video/IUDS0a1GmBY/видео.html
Hey, thanks for the question...if you notice, I have stairs attached to the foundations. The rocks are basically sitting on the second step of the stairs, which allows them to sink down a little. Hope that helps!
I love love love that you show the frustration of building like the triangle wall tiles refusing to go in. Makes me feel like it's not my fault.
Haha, it's not your fault! The build system is just a bit quirky sometimes. Thanks for watching :)

I absolutely love this build. Amazing job, my friend. You've inspired me to try my own unique build in 2024!!
Thank you! Glad you dig this one...I have similar camp videos if you're looking for more inspiration :)
That's a pretty sweet build! Everything flows really nicely, I dare say perfect!
Oh, thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it :)
I love the rock pathway, ive seen my friend do sonething similiar but not exactly that
Thank you! I really wish those rocks would sink into the ground like the concrete barricades and stuff but whatever.

I really like the stone walkway. That is a neat trick that I'm definitely going to steal. :)
Nice, please do! I'd like to figure out a good way to do it without needing the stairway...but it may require some under the map shenanigans.
This turned out gorgeous, I love greenhouse type camps ☺️
Same, thanks! The new rustic greenhouse set is fantastic.

Yea, the back foundation must have been hitting something underground that made it do that...all good though, thanks for the kind words and comment!
Very nice
Thanks!
Fabulous! Iwant to visit!

Great video mate! And great build!

Wonderful. Wish we could download the builds of other players!
Yea, that would be awesome! You can do that in Fallout 4 with mods I think, but not 76, unfortunately.
