Fun fact: the building on 3:15 is inspired by two russian cathedrals: St. Isaac's and Kazan in Saint-Petersburg. The great Russian commander is buried in the Kazan Cathedral and in the game it is Signora who is buried.

Collei is one of his failed experiments) so she may get a glimpse of the thoughts of the doctor... so the burning of sumeru is one of the doctors plans and she caught a glimpse of it... we may see for the first time the destruction of an entire nation since Sumeru is literally the only nation that is based on a nation in the real world that is no longer in existence (mesopotamia). all other nations in teyvat have their real life counterpart country that still exists. only sumeru does not.
I may be wrong but I think that Sumeru is based on both India and the Middle East. Sumeru is a mountain mentioned in Hindu Mythology and the name of the archon quest (truth amongst the pages of the Purana) alludes to a specific set of literature written in classical India. The name of the god Kusanali comes from Kusanali-Jataka a poem in the Jataka tales. Also sages (rishi) were extremely influential in ancient India and were treated with respect even by the kings as getting cursed by sages was not fun. Also sages were known to be the most educated and knowledgeable as mentioned in the first line of this trailer. As for the middle eastern part I think it is based more on the Islamic middle east and not ancient Mesopotamia. You know probably correlated Sumeru with Sumer but a Mesopotamian based country would probably not name their god kusanali of all things. Given that the house of wisdom existed in Baghdad during medieval times and Sumeru is very much themed around wisdom. Islamic middle east is likely a better option over Ancient Sumer
We literally got to see mosques in the sneak peek and a temple in this video. The names are a mix of both Arabic and Indian names. The clothes are mostly from Middle East. I don't think any of it is based on Mesopotamia alone. Because in Hindu mythology Sumeru is the name of a mountain which is also the abode of gods. And in the medieval times India had really great scholars and education was very advanced of its times. People came from afar to learn in Nalanda University which was later destroyed. So this might be a reference to that. And also partly mesopotamia may be possible but Islamic culture did not exist at that time. So Sumeru is based on both India and Middle East

They just release every single one of the Harbingers. So sickkkk! The BGM gives me goosebumps everytime I watch the trailer. This is exciting to all Travelers out there!

Pantalone called him "Mayor" in this trailer. 9 - Pantalone (The Regrator) = long-haired man with glasses ? - Arlecchino (The Knave) = short-haired woman with red cross pupils ? - Sandrone (The Marionette) = little girl sitting on big Fatui's hand ? - Capitano (The Captain) = fully-masked dude Tartaglia (The Childe) y'all already know, and Dottore (The Doctor) was mentioned by name in the trailer.
From the dialogue in this it seems Dottore made clones of himself in different stages of his life . And it also seems prime Dottore is busy conducting an "experiment" by burning down that giant tree , while the one at funeral is on the younger side of his versions . I'm guessing the manga version was Dottore in his early 20s , funeral Dottore was in his late 20s and prime Dottore at the end Dottore in his 30 , with probably a much older version existing somewhere too
I Think this trailer nailed everything. The eerie music with the “la la la” which at the end goes full cinematic. The characters are Well designed and collei’s precognition
At 3:52 I believe this is Columbina (Damselette) asking Dottore (The Doctor) "where's the Segment in the prime of his life?". Notice how they capitalize "Segment" in the subs? Segment seems to be another way to say clone in this context. This then cuts to Dottore's prime "Segment" burning down a large tree in what looks to be a sacred Sumeru tree, hence the word "blasphemy". This is all speculation - I could be wrong.
This is making me remember a scene in Honkai, where Fuhua talked to Himeko about "sacrifice is inevitable", which our red-head Sensei replied: "You really don't know what "sacrifice is inevitable" means, girl." It's kinda true, since we can see all the Fatui keep saying about sacrifice this and that for Tsaritsa's "noble and purest dream." All their actions affected too many people, even destroying their lives and family around. Those people are not given a choice, they were forced by the Fatui to "sacrifice" which is so wrong in many levels. "What's tragic is not how many people have sacrificed, but the thought of sacrificing people makes one think it's necessary."
The way I felt kinda sad seeing them all come together for Signora’s funeral. As a huge Signora fan seeing her coffin definitely hit hard, but there are some great character designs there! Let’s just hope those ones survive to become playable too 😩

first harbingers and the burning tree are different parts. i believe collei got the vision of that burning tree in her dream. i suspect that will be ‘the tree of life’ things in sumeru. anyway, what an insane teaser. i’m amazed at the character designs, sound design, script writing, voice actings, and the cinematography. well basically all of it. also the costumes design, broooooo.

Two things I noticed: one, the girl leaning on the coffin and the girl who mentioned Signora died in a foreign land look very similar to me, so potentially they’re sisters or even twins. Two, the person with the glasses and black hair looks EXTREMELY similar to Baizhu, so much so it’s very suspicious

Collie was an experiment that dottore had and choose . Collie burned down the tree and had the power of a god or an archon she was later saved by the knights of favonius and was cured but she got elezar and the knights didn’t know what to do with it so cyno came and took collie to sumeru to tell tighnari.I don’t know the full story but hoped this help

The knight piece who took down the pawn piece represents electro archon who killed signora. Signora is represented with the pawn piece.

Interesting fact: Tsartisa moves the white figure at the beginning of the video. It is also she who freezes the palace, giving peace to the Signora.

From the dialogue in this it seems Dottore made clones of himself in different stages of his life . And it also seems prime Dottore is busy conducting an "experiment" by burning down that giant tree , while the one at funeral is on the younger side of his versions . I'm guessing the manga version was Dottore in his early 20s , funeral Dottore was in his late 20s and prime Dottore at the end Dottore in his 30 , with probably a much older version existing somewhere too
I Think this trailer nailed everything. The eerie music with the “la la la” which at the end goes full cinematic. The characters are Well designed and collei’s precognition
At 3:52 I believe this is Columbina (Damselette) asking Dottore (The Doctor) "where's the Segment in the prime of his life?". Notice how they capitalize "Segment" in the subs? Segment seems to be another way to say clone in this context. This then cuts to Dottore's prime "Segment" burning down a large tree in what looks to be a sacred Sumeru tree, hence the word "blasphemy".
This is all speculation - I could be wrong.

It's kinda true, since we can see all the Fatui keep saying about sacrifice this and that for Tsaritsa's "noble and purest dream." All their actions affected too many people, even destroying their lives and family around. Those people are not given a choice, they were forced by the Fatui to "sacrifice" which is so wrong in many levels.

Two things I noticed: one, the girl leaning on the coffin and the girl who mentioned Signora died in a foreign land look very similar to me, so potentially they’re sisters or even twins.
Two, the person with the glasses and black hair looks EXTREMELY similar to Baizhu, so much so it’s very suspicious

Collie burned down the tree and had the power of a god or an archon she was later saved by the knights of favonius and was cured but she got elezar and the knights didn’t know what to do with it so cyno came and took collie to sumeru to tell tighnari.I don’t know the full story but hoped this help
