    Bleeding has another side effect:
You are not just losing health , but Raptors can sniff you out and they follow you into a room, even if they don't see you moving into said room.
The enemies in the game are designed to actively hunt the player, which i think is a really neat feature for such an old game.

We should actually incorporate video game logics into real life, for example:
If a fire in your workplace breaks out, you can'*t just leave but have to find 3 specific items to access the door panel which presents you with a logic puzzle that has to be solved before you'll be able to open the door and leave.
This would really raise our chances for sustainable depopulation

    • @SamsarasArt

The OG Resident Evil 3 was like this. It's downright oppressive since Nemesis is so difficult and you're poorly equipped in the early game. The first half of the game is so tense because you don't know when or where Nemesis would appear but you know it's going to happen at some point. And when it does he stalks you relentlessly and it's a pain to put him down. As you progress through the game, you add more powerful weapons and ammo to your arsenal and after the clock tower battle, Nemesis begins to get easier. He starts showing battle damage and he loses his rocket launcher and his instant kill move; he gets battered so much that by the final battle, he's a helpless deformed husk that's a far cry from the seemingly invincible monster who terrorized you earlier. Now the roles are reversed, Jill is the unstoppable badass and Nemesis is helpless as she ends him with a magnum. It's cathartic to play through because you had to work to overcome a difficult challenge and you overcame it in convincing fashion.

      @@propheinx2250 to be completely fair
there's plenty of real life animals alive rn that if you were to shoot them you'd only make things worse for yourself
so while a smaller dino *could* maybe be killed conventianally, and i mean real small ones
the mid to large sized dinos would realistically need much more than 10 bullets
of armour piercing heavy rounds mind you, which i'd imagine would only be useful in the mid sized ones, if that, with the larger ones surely needing something more along the lines of an RPG

    • @macro3751
      @macro3751 2 года назад

@@propheinx2250 pretty sure a polar bear could do that for example
some people even say if you got a gun with 1 bullet when a polar bear is coming for you, just shoot yourself to get it over with quicker because the shot will just make it more angry with you
if i'm not mistaken anything short of a shotgun blast point blank or a high powered riffle shot won't really do much, and if your aim is off the most you'll do is make it go away for a bit
see the thing with large enough animals, is that many of them not only have a lot of fat, but said fat is also above a layer of dense muscle which both can slow a regular bullet considerably
another example is a hippo, same story, anything less than a high power riffle won't do much to it
and do keep in mind, many of these i cited, where much smaller than the everage dino
a tricerotops for example would easily outclass a hippo in terms of size and muscle mass

This game was criminally underrated. Moreso it never got a faithful re-make.
This was from the era when things were not 'overdone' with soppy animations and cutscenes/direction. It was pure intensity and gaming.

29:28 Funny enouhg I rememmber that if you fail that puzzle enough times the guy dies and you retreive the thing from his corpse. And I think the radio thing is that theirs don't have enough range.
And what about dinocrisis 2? I liked that one. I am disapointed we never knew what happened in the story after that.

I could never stomach the slow, creeping dread of the Resident Evil games. But Dino Crisis came along and said "HEY! What if we just replaced all that with ACTION." And I was sold. This is also the first game I played that had multiple endings, and they were all great.

I'll be honest. If I ever had the money and build a house I would totally make 2 entrances. One would be 'normal' and one would be 'fun' and include all the stupid riddles from video games + the house itself would have a 'game mode' which locks all rooms and turns the house into a giant escape room maze

Dino Crisis 3 was one of the worst games of all time.
