I think the joke was less because of the hat pun and more because it had a GoPro on it, so it looked like he got decapitated to the viewers
He didn't have a hat on, it was a helmet. And the helmet had the GoPro mounted to it. I don't think it was a pun, but it was more of just a little joke that Niko thought of after seeing Christians only form of protection (other than his sword) go flying off.
I was like oh you can finally trust Wren he's the detective. Then he starts attacking everyone. Dammit Wren haha.

And make the mage a chaotic role; no one knows if they're with the other traitors or not. So fighting/protecting the mage will ALWAYS be suspicious >:D
Zone of confusion: everyone in the area gives their cards to the mage, he shuffles them and doles them back out. You’re now the role you got.
Also should add a jester role. Not allowed to hit another player but wins if they die. And/or a swapper, who is a jester who becomes whoever kills them.

The second game was nothing short of amazing, traitors were so tactical and then Sam used his greatsword so effectively that even Adorea's (sword fighting channel) people would be happy.

I like Sam's "monk style" as a punishment for killing an innocent
both traitors confront him and it turns to an anime style and sam goes "its getting interesting" as he blocks all the attacks at high speeds. lol.

I love this game type, it reminds me of the sword duels that y'all did a while back. The whole final battle with sam and christian vs clint and niko felt like something out of a film, it was great! Also the flying monk attack in the second round was incredible! Stay safe and keep up the great work

This was amazing honestly! I'd recommend doing more of this or even maybe the detective gets a crossbow/bow and punishments would be they can only use a dagger

I think my absolute favorite part was Sam trying to goldeneye-slap clint in the back only to get killed at the last second. Oh man I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Thanks for this, great ideas all around.

Sam flying in and annihilating Niko and Clint was amazing.
That final battle between Niko and Clint after Clint killed every innocent was pretty cool. And then the 1v2 clutch from Sam at the end

Give the traitors a spell to make an innocent a traitor only 1 use per game
perhaps only if that innocent has already been killed (like hypnotist in G-Mod)

Variant idea: there is one traitor, a sorcerer (or wizard or insert mage class here), they are able to use spells up to 2-3 times. They only have a dagger as a weapon and it requires 2 or 3 hits to kill somebody with it. Everyone starts with a dagger and there are weapons scattered around. The wizard can take a weapon but cannot use it, must use their dagger. Charm Person is their main spell, which allows them to take control of innocent players if they hit them with it (like the freeze), they control the charmed person for maybe 30 seconds or 1 minute. Not sure if they can kill someone they've charmed while the spell is active. Could see it working either way. Their second spell is Blind, where the afflicted person has to close their eyes for 15-20ish seconds.
I didn't give solid numbers for anything because I figure the people who regularly play these game types would have a way better idea as to how long or many hits or whatever would be fair.
Niko pulled out some fancy techniques at the end in that second round. Paired with a nice finisher for style points.
The ending shows that Niko and Sam are just really good mates - they both knew what was happening there

Add class roles:
Necromancer can revive 1 player.
Wizard can use a frost spell.
Paladin can use zone of truth.
Archer can use a bow.
Barbarian needs two hits to be killed.
Everyone else is a standard fighter.
Wren is like an optical illusion. He looks short but he is tall as hell.
It'd be cool to add a Jester (or Martyr maybe?) role, where the person's aim is to get killed by the innocents (death by traitor would not count) without the ability to cause harm to either traitors or innocents. For instance, here he could swing the sword and defend himself, but if he accidentally hits someone, he must reveal his role to this person (then the victim can chose what to do with this information). It could open up new plays (for instance, a traitor could give his spell to the Jester, if he figures out who it is, to deflect blame or create a distraction). I can totally see Wren pull this off!

I used to play a game called Espionage. Basically there is a guard team and a spy team. The guard team outnumber the spy team, but the spy team only has to either capture a flag or assasinate the VIP on the guard team. We would play with paintball equipment, but nerf would work. The idea of the game being for the spies to overcome greater numbers to achieve either goal while the guards don't know which objective the other team is going for.
The whole concept of medieval TTT is just really cool
dude, this is so awesome. You should add a pocket sand or ninja archetype. Has a spell to force others to close their eyes for 5-10 seconds. Like a flashbang effect.

Me and my friends played TTT, but instead of a detective, we had a medic that could bring you back to life one time.

After watching every ttt variant on node multiple times i have to say this is my favorite please may we have some more sires.

This was glorious to watch! GLORIOUS!
New TTT idea. (Medieval style but with custom roles) some roles u can use are
Jester (Neutral): if jester dies they win the game but cant do any harm to anyone (traitors get to know who jester is in beginning reveal phase)
Killer(Neutral): Has to kill EVERYONE and has one extra hit life to balance.
Zombie(Traitor): Has the ability to come back to life after 30 seconds but have to walk the whole time (Speedwalk is max speed they can go)
Plague-Bearer(Traitor): Someone with a nasty disease ready to burst, person has to yell "THE BLACK DEATH!" And everyone in arms length radius is dead but so is the plague bearer.
Guardian(Inno): Has the ability to add one life to someone they trust, this could backfire though.
Monster Hunter(Inno): Somewhere around the map is a bow and arrows and the MH can find it and use it for themselves. Arrows pierce through shields so if a shield blocks an arrow the shield is broken and has to be tossed.
Baron(Detective): Your word is law, you can enlist one law everyone (even traitors) has to follow that is reasonable (like everyone has to jump wherever they have to go, everyone must sheathe their weapons, everyone must bow before you.) These laws last for 15 seconds and can be instilled at any time,
The Knight(Detective): You're in need of a squire, you have the ability to see someone's card, with their consent ofcourse (If they're inno they are now your loyal squire, if traitor then they are deemed a traitor to the public) You and the person being checked cannot attack eachother while being checked.
Not every role can be put into each game, Maybe 1 or 2 could suffice. Just a fun idea for the channel. Love yalls content btw.

You should take inspiration from the multiple character types that you can do with TTT such as 'A rogue' whose objective could be to kill everyone including the traitors or 'a tanner' whose object is to get themselves killed and by doing so they win the game
You could add more too if you wanted like 'a necromancer' who can turn people to their side after they killing them

You guys need to do a TTT SCP edition. Where certain traitors can be certain SCPs with certain abilities. (I just realised that I said certain a lot)
Keep these up! Maybe a shield spell or a revive spell that specifically has to be found in the arena
You could try to spice things up by giving the detective a 'crossbow' (nerfgun) or an unfreeze spell so that they can reverse the traitors' freeze spell if they need help. And if unfreeze is added, freeze could be buffed to like maybe 20-25 seconds, maybe?
That was epic! I wouldn't mind seeing more of that but with more interesting spells like maybe a mind control spell where you have to touch someone's head with your fingers to turn them traitor but like have a limit to only one traitor cans do that and maybe have a necromancer that can revive one player but maybe he loses his memories and can't say who the person who killed them was. Maybe have two sets of cards to hand out where everyone can get a different unique ability that are easy to incorporate into a ttt game. Like maybe a disarm spell that makes someone drop/throw their weapon and have to scramble to pick it up. Maybe that player has the freeze card and freezes the guy before he lands the blow and picks up his sword and gets him. The abilities should also be kept secret except maybe have the detective have like 1 regular ability and one detective ability like a single use truth spell or something
There's even random banter about random things just like in actual lets play. These are always about the details

This was actually good, and gave me one good idea for a game
There will be 4 Adventurers against a dungeon master.
Objective : To go into the maze/dungeon to destroy the crystal.
Dungeon master will have minions that will resurrect infinitely(until all spawn points are destroyed), minions have 1 hp while dungeon master has 2 hp(dies when crystal is destroyed). Dungeon master can also setup three traps that will not allow the adventurers to enter that room unless thief disarms it(trap only at the door so if the place has two doors and only one trap, adventurers can enter from the other door). Minions once dead will resurrect from spawn points dungeon master will give. Adventurers can destroy those spawn points.
4 Adventurers
Warrior - wields sword and shield, has 5 hp, can use defense up to become indestructible for 1 hit.
Thief - wields knife, has 1 hp, can disarm traps(10 seconds to disarm)
Mage - Can throw those balls at people to trigger spells, has 1 hp, can use barrier to protect himself(one time use, cannot move, lasts 10 seconds), magic gun with 6 bullets.
Priest - can resurrect one person only, can heal three times(himself or others)
Dungeon Master - 2 hp, can respawn until magic crystal is destroyed, wields long range(gun) as well short range(sword), setup traps or make minions set it up. Can use camera at one location(like you guys did in Rainbow six airsoft)
Minions - 1 hp, wields any melee weapon and shield, can spawn until spawn point destroyed.
Love this game idea! Next spells should be to bewitch the innocents with RAGE forcing them to attacks ours and CONTROL the traitor tells them to attack one person, these spells are to confess the others into thinking they are the traitors or to make the innocents hesitate in case they are bewitched.

Love the idea of spells! Here's a few more for you!
FREEZE - The target is unable to move for 15 seconds
COMMAND - The target must obey the caster for 30 seconds
FRENZY - The target becomes aggressive, attacking all nearby players for 15 seconds
SILENCE - The target is unable to speak for 30 seconds
DISGUISE SELF - The caster may assume the status of the target for 30 seconds (or perhaps for 1 minute?)
BODY SWAP - The caster may swap status cards with the target
RAISE THRALL - The caster may resurrect a fallen foe, who becomes an ally but is unable to speak
RESURRECT - The caster must remain alive and touching the target for 15 seconds, after which time the target returns to life.
Most of these will need a play test, or be limited to certain player types. Just some food for thought though :)

I'd suggest adding an archer role; their weapons being a bow with a quiver of arrows, and a dagger when things go south.
I would also like to see use of the 'mordhau' stance (holding the blade and striking with the pommel) and if you hit another players head with the pommel they are 'dazed' and can only block for x amount of time.
Have you guys considered looking up some larp rules? I'm a part of a larp that uses spells and combat as well

I think you guys should definitely try classic TTT but with custom roles. Like the Jester just has a empty gun, Hypnotist can bring anyone back from the dead and make them a traitor, Vampire can take two shots after killing someone and “feasting” in them, Killer can automatically take two hits because of their increased health

More a new game mode than variant of TTT, but it would be fun to see you all play colour battles. Its normal capture the flag, re spawn turned on, except everyone has two coloured identifiers everyone starts with a sidearm and a melee weapon (normally a rubber knife but swords work too). If someone is killed in melee they have to switch identifiers and switch teams. This means there are two win conditions, completely absorbing the other team or capturing their flag.
I personally like it because it allows for a lot of that TTT trickery such as someone who was on your side a moment ago shouting for back up further away only for it to end up being an ambush. It leads to everyone second guessing their allies and can also lead to fun strategies such as only having one player on a team know where the flag is hidden because it means if an ally is compromised the team isn't at a disadvantage.
