I born in 1990 and in 1995 I saw The Lion King in theatres and later, in my home (video), every single day. This movie is the first movie I saw in my life. And I think this movie shaped my way of life and how I understand the world. Today, as a grown-up man with 27 years old, I can say that this movie has everything that a child needs. The Lion King talk about duty, honesty, betrayal, friendship, love, war, peace, the balance of nature and life, talk about family and tradition. This is really a movie-testament to enjoy our life's with respect to ourselves and to others. LONG LIVE THE KING! Edit.: Thanks so much for the comments and likes, my friends. This movie brings us together here and will continue, as the spirit lives. Also, English is not my mother tongue, so thank you for the correction in "long life the king" to "live".

No no that's not what he meant (that's typical, narcissistic rhetoric). He meant he should abandon the low-class, impulsive pleasure (Hakuna Matata) and embrace his responsibility as King. Through that responsibility, his life can have meaning.
@@leone41ll In Simba's case, he was running away from his origin, running away from the pain of not feeling worthy of the responsibility he would need to accept. When someone runs away from their fears, they can't be themselves. Fear prevents the naturalness of being, and in Simba's case he was always afraid because he felt guilty for Mufassa's death. In this respect, the whole kingdom was suffering as an indirect consequence of Simba being afraid and running away from himself and his responsibilities as the king's son. That said, I fortify the idea that the important thing would be for Simba to accept who he was, at the point where he should agree to face the fear that kept him from shouldering his responsibilities. It is only possible to shoulder responsibilities if the being in question accepts his own abilities and way of being, having confidence in himself and what he is capable of performing. To conclude: if Simba had not accepted who he was, in terms of accepting everything that complements him as a being, he would not feel able to take on the responsibility of a kingdom, because to be a leader you need to be strong, capable, resilient and brave, something that can only be achieved by remembering who you are and accepting who you are with confidence and bravery. In other words: Simba, remember who you are. - Simba, accept who you are and you will be able to shoulder the responsibility and be the leader needed for the prosperity of the king's land.
0:00-1:40 represents all the struggle of your life and 1:40-2:15 represents that feeling that you get when you have achieved your goals. I like the first part because only few people are able to acheive something in their lives and certainly I'm not one of them. Struggle is an old friend.
I like this, I'd expand upon that though and say 0:00 - 1:40 is the struggle, heartbreak, tragedy and despair. 1:40 - 2:15 is the calm after you've found some grounding and healing. 2:15 - 3:45 is challenging yourself to become more, looking life in the face and saying bring it on. And finally 3:45 is victory and a subtle call back of the road you traveled to get there.
