    1. Eat = idla ( Zulu 🇿🇦)
    2.child= uMtwana (Zulu🇿🇦) Ngwana(Sotho🇱🇸🇿🇦)
    3.six= isthandathu( Xhosa🇿🇦)
    4.Grow= khula( Zulu)
    5.send = Thuma ( Zulu)
    6. Bird= inyoni ( Zulu)
    7. Human= umuntu (Zulu)
    8.up = phezulu ( Zulu)
    Zulu can mean sky, heaven and even rain but if u add a prefix " phe"Zulu... Then it means "up"
    Zulu 🇿🇦 and Ndebele 🇿🇼, it's exactly the same language.

      Yes
      Languages spoken from South Africa to Uganda have very striking similarities...
      There is a school child in Rwanda who was teaching me kinyarwanda for many years... I think she is finished school now...
      Kinyarwanda is difficult to speak if you from South Africa but it has lots of similarities with different South African languages...

      Bantu people, definitely have a common background...
      Otherwise
      How is it possible that we use same words to mean exactly the same thing...
      Ulimi
      Amehlo = amaso
      Inwele
      Iziko.
      Meno = ameno
      Maboko = amaboko
      This are words in Sa languages and many more 😁

    Interesting. I happen to be a luo who has learnt to speak both Kikuyu and Kinyarwanda. One word that is directly similar in spelling, meaning and pronunciation in both languages is kurakara, which means to be angry in both Kinyarwanda and Kikuyu. Many other words are almost similar as they have shown in the video, like head is "Mutwe" in Kikuyu, "Umutwe" in Kinyarwanda although the pronunciation in Kinyarwanda is "uu--mu--t--k-u-wee". Also the derogatory word for mother used especially in abusive language is "nyoko" in Kinyarwanda and "nyukwa" in Kikuyu. The numbers are also similar in some way.
    Now, believe it or not, Kinyarwanda is closest to Kimaragoli and Suba languages in Kenya. A luhya or Suba can almost understand Kinyarwanda without having heard it. Remember Rufftone's song "Mwikulu"? that means heaven? in Kinyarwanda heaven is Mwijuru. Both Kimaragoli and Kinyarwanda use "rero" as a filler word, exactly as it is, to mean like 'now" or "at this time" etc. Both languages also use "ba' to denote people, like abaluhya or basuba and banyarwanda etc.

    It's very interesting that the Kikuyu and Kinyarwanda languages are almost similar. There are only a few differences in pronunciation, but they are so similar that these two groups must have come from the same origin.

    I wish you guys understand Kinyarwanda, so i could give you a link and see how all so called "Bantu languages" are regional variations of one original language called "URURI"
    URU for ururimi(language)
    RI for Urumuri(Light)
    In brief ururi means Ururimi rwa RI or ururimi rwa rumuri( language of light)
    You can't say East Africa is the origin of humanity and not the origin of language! What they invatnted is writing not languages.
    This RI is very deep.To give you a hint, see how we conjugate kuri( the original translation of to be):
    ndi(n-ri),
    uri(u-ri),
    ni(actuallyni-ri) or a- ri.

    In Nyeri, a piece of metal is pronounced as "Shuma" and not "Cuma" like they do in Kiambu and Murang'a. So, Nyeri kikuyu is more similar to kinyarwanda
