I've been playing ovenbreak since 2018!! I stopped playing it for a while but I came back last year and I've had a lot of fun i even got my own guild, it really deserves more credit even though devsis hasn't been treating the game well lately (cough, season 6 incident, tk magic candy)

This game just became more underrated ever since Kingdom is where majority of the community comes from. As a 4 years Ovenbreak player, the video community content for this game is low, to the point where I never see them at all (YT is a great example). This game's Cookie and Pet Gacha is (not entirely) 50% better than Kingdom, if you have every single Epic maxed because you won't get any epic duplicates after getting additional coin copies, unless you have every epic maxed out. Treasures and Costume wised it's mixed. Invocation Cards are only useful on Story Mode because that's literally the only mode you can use, except Custom Runs with it's mostly going to be disabled. (It wasn't 100%) Since you pay to progress, why don't you go for maxing out Timekeeper Cookie (Legendary) and her pet with magic Candy and her costume (which has a super godly low chance to get) and speed run through Trophy Race? It's expensive, but if you insist to. But it'll also be boring. Can't wait for future episodes.

Actually you can adjust the difficulty to easy, before running, tap on the chest to select the easy mode, you can also get bonus rewards if you used a combo cookie + pet, they'll give you some new treasures to upgrade. You can also come back to challenge yourself to add more difficulty to gain extra rewards.
Over time, you'll get used to this game. For me, I started getting into some Cookie Run content on June 1st, 2021. Then, after I saw videos of CROB, I decided to start playing it on June 18th, 2021. When I first started, I pretty much suck at it, but now, I'm playing it without constantly hitting obstacles and have been playing it since. On some modes, you must have a very fast reaction time with your hands and your mind to play since they move very quickly and you must keep up with that speed.
You can tap on the "Your choice" section and replace them with the ones you want (herb cookie) and if you don't get him that way, once you save 5000 mileage from gacha'ing, you can buy him.
I'd recommend using Amber Sugar Cookie, he's very good. Croissant and Captain Ice are also great cookies, so I'd recommend using them too. Maybe use Croissant, with Amber Sugar as a relay, you'll get much more score than if you use Angel Cookie

Bijuu, I got you. Been playing Ovenbreak for THREE YEARS. This game is amazing in that each cookie has it's own thoughtout backstory and they're very unique. Most cookies came with their own story event the month they were released. The newer and higher ranked cookies (Epics and Legendary) are generally the better ones. Most people don't even bother with Rares or commons. Dont neglect some of the older characters though, they're some real powerhouses. Treasures are also really important and almost always run with a cookie and their designated pet. Their combo bonuses are better then ANY combination of cookie, pet, or treasure. There is A LOT. Try not to get overwhelmed and have fun! Also, doing the events is a great way to get resources.

As someone who's played Cookie Run Ovenbreak for years, I'll give you some tips. There are three types of players when it comes to how they increase their score. Some focus on destroying obstacles, some on collecting jellies, and some on distance so they can destroy more obstacles and collect more jellies in that longer period of time. I am the latter. Test out different Cookies, Pets, and treasures to find out which is your style.

You actually need different cookies and pets for multiple gamemodes, and soem score more points than others! It can be very fun you know, but Kingdom has more multi-tasking and more features! And trust me Mike, check out the Grand Champions League Runs of OvenBreak, it's insanely hard at times 😂
btw, epic cookies are basically are good as legendary ones, or in some cases even better. legendary cookies are easy to obtain, but from anything but gacha, getting legendary cookies from gacha is VERY hard, but you can get legendary cookies from inviting friends, playing for 5 days (only for beginners) , guild coins, etc.
dont forget mialege! (whatever u spell it) Instead of spending on epics, use the mileage for legendaries. use spirit potions only when they're almost at level 15 (max lvl)

It's possible to be a very high-leveled player and a F2P, if you have enough dedication to play and grind everyday (well, if you played since the beginning like me oof) The music is very nice too! So many varities of music and it's amazing!
These videos convinced me to get the game and I kid you not, within an hour of playing I got the ice witch one. Next hour get her AGAIN, next day got the cotton cookie and the coco cookie in the same draw. I've saved up 15 years of luck for me to win three fictional gingerbread men.
