Honestly, I feel the fact that we want more of him proves we got enough of him. There’s a reason he sticks in your mind for past episode one. There was no fat to his story whatsoever.
Pluto is such a great anime such a shame it's so underrated. Since it was released I got all the volumes and bought the original Astro Boy manga, the artwork, Atom the beginning manga and anything related to Astro Boy, my love for the story once again present because of Pluto.
What did you say at the start? The author is Osamu Tezuka. 1:24 Urasawa*. 2:25 “What’s the point of watching a murder mystery if you know the ending.” I knew the ending because I’d seen the original Astro Boy story in the 1980 and 2003 anime’s and I still throughly enjoyed it.
honestly I think anyone who watches PLUTO should give the 2003 Astro Boy anime a chance. Yeah, it's much more lighthearted and more of a monster of the week type show, but it was created alongside PLUTO and provides commentaries on some of the same things as it :P
It wasn’t created alongside Pluto, it was started several months before and ran at the same time. The 1980 series is better and the Greatest Robot on Earth story is told better there.
@@Josephu_ yes. The original was very much the monster of the week archetype while the 03 series has an overarching plot with Dr Tenma as the main villain.
This video make you watch it?
I almost cry watching the first episode of this show. North no.2 should be given more screen time
Honestly I Think The fact that is a more or less self contained story only makes it hit harder and sets a president moving forward.

yeah he was the loss that set the tone.
This is a great manga, the adaptation is a great anime. One of the best there ever was, IMO. I hope more people get to watch it.
same bro

There’s another Astro remake in the works by a French studio.

Its a completely different story than the original right?

Great video but the way you pronounce it not “gesigt” but “gaysht”
To be fair, in the anime they pronounce it that way it's spelled. "Gez-ickt"
