Tokyo gets my vote. I actually like their lighting better because the string lights (after Christmas) looks a bit tacky imo. Plus the facade color scheme really makes even more of a statement and the bright colors say “it’s a small world” to me more than HK’s more neutral colors. I also find their beginning gear sounds to be a bit catchy, and the chimes also sound more crisp, of that makes sense No idea why I went super in-depth with this
you probably dont care but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream all of the new movies on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my brother for the last months =)
My favorite is Tokyo because even though I actually do really like the string lights at HK I also think Tokyo now has a much better color scheme, compared to Hong Kongs which is more muted and because of the string lights you can't even see it at night. Though I do think the string lights are also beautiful especially when they change colors. I don't think the changing color part was originally part of Hong Kongs small world in 2008, I wonder when they added that. Nice video.
@@CNY0406 I do love HK Asia room above all others, and since 2018 I do think HK has been the better IASW. They mostly did a great job with Tokyo's 2018 refurb, as since then Tokyo's lighting has been better than any other IASW, IMO, and the "new" indoor load and Welcome room are also well done despite not fully being in Mary's classic art style like the rest of the ride. But the overly excessive Disney characters (Especially Frozen characters replacing Scandinavian ice skaters 🤮🤮🤮) are really pointless, IMO, and although Hong Kong was the first to include them, there are definitely less in HK as well as CA compared to Tokyo which is now loaded with them. Also, although I personally prefer the 1964/66/71/83 soundtrack overall, I wish that Tokyo still had the full parade music from Paris 1992, instead of a hybrid of that and the current CA/HK music like it has since 2018. *Although I absolutely love both versions,* (And still consider Tokyo's IASW better than Florida's despite similar sets and layout, primarily because of the outdoor Clock Tower), *I also absolutely love the additional languages in HK Asia room, so I think that overall, HK actually has the better ride now.* Ironic because Tokyo Disneyland also seems like a much better park overall, IMO, complete with far more classic attractions that along with IASW, made Disneyland what it is today (Plus a few now extinct in DL, CA, like Country Bears). It has what I consider the best Haunted Mansion (Still has my beloved classic Beating Heart Bride 🤩), *as well as by FAR the best Winnie the Pooh attraction anywhere in the world: Poohs Hunny Hunt.🍯🤩 I cannot describe how jealous I am that Tokyo received that masterpiece,* while CA/FL/HK received a cheap knockoff that even replaced 2 more beloved classics in the US parks (Mr Toad in FL, Country Bears in CA). Not to mention, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, the best Snow White ride in the world IMO (Perfectly combined elements from WDW 71 and DL 83 versions), Pinocchio, Space Mountain, and more classics that are missing from Hong Kong. (I'm aware that HK has hyperspace Mountain, but I also think that's *nowhere near* as good as the classic experience and has *far* too many projections in my view, so that we can see tracks and other supports we're not supposed to see) Tokyo doesn't even have any plans to change Splash Mountain, and I think that is another BIG win for me, as besides Rise of the Resistance I personally think Disney has had a relatively poor track record of new attractions over the last few years, especially in US parks.

Very nice detail! It does feel that Tokyo version has more colors in depth. Maybe due to its recent re-fur. Good points!
The chimes at Tokyo and Paris sound like actual bells, and the ones Hong Kong, CA, and FL have never really did
@@Cecnorthernohio they sound more like gongs, or something of that variety
