Some of the last scenes were amazing, like some minutes ago, the soldiers on the rooftops are fighting for their life, but when the reinforcements arrived, they just storm down from the building and crush the remaining zombies like true heroes and survivors of apocalypse. Also, when the tanks storm the alleys clearing them and saving the as*es of the remaining solidiers, that truly gets me. Those soldiers of german city have a story to tell when they get home with their children!!

If left untreated, a frat party that explores a disused government lab or some sorority messing around with magic for the first time can expand into a vast screaming army of the undead. Caution and unflinching brutality are essential in the early treatment of zombies.
I like this map, it looks interesting. I would like if there was a way for fighters to move up to or down from rooftops (other than jumping). Question: do the tanks use machine guns, or only the cannons? I think I would opt to replace the artillery with something that shoots a heavy machine gun, such as a Bradley or maybe a smaller number of CIWS turrets. My reasoning is that zombies, being undead, _should_ be less affected by the shockwave from artillery than a human would. Yes, I know that's not the case in the sim, it just seems a bit more credible to me.
Yeah, currently, tanks are set to use only the cannon. Unfortunately, the game doesn't support units having two types of attacks yet. I would love to see tanks using both the machine gun and the cannon once such a feature gets updated. Thank you for your comment.

It seems to me that the reverse-slope of a dead-zombie-mountain is the best firing position for human infantry. Their target is cresting the hill and is only one-zombie-wide and one zombie deep. So their fire is at maximum concentration. The entire reverse slope is using 'grazing fire' against the peak of the dead-zombie-mountain....so EVERYONE on the reverse slope is firing. The effect is that the line of zombies across the edge of the hill dies FAST. The most effective infantry fire.
I think its situational. If you only have a few shooters then sure, everything that helps concentrate fire is good. But when you have masses of infantry it's better to spread the joy around. Otherwise you end up with two dozen shotgunners blasting one zombie which is massive overkill. The hill protects the approach of zombies from the largest part of the way. In general melee wants to have as much contact as possible, ranged wants as long and flat approach as possible with these sorts of number. And of course big guns miss a lot more with those hills around.
I was thinking that if a real armed force had to defend against a horde of zombies, they might go back to a WW1 method: fixed fire machine guns. Draw the zombies through a narrow pass. Set up a series of machine guns to deliver sustained fire across the zombies' direction of movement, at about head height. Have several guns, three or four, in each bunker, to switch whenever one needs service or reload. Have several bunkers with protected fallback routes, for when the corpse piles get too big for effective fire. It would be a good idea to equip the guns with suppressors designed for sustained fire, to reduce the risk of the zombies turning their attention to the gun bunkers. Such suppressors are challenging to design, but possible. This will of course not be 100% effective, but it should thin the horde out significantly, making the job easier for the people defending whatever is at the end of the pass. The cleanup afterwards would be an awful mess, though.
Great video! But dont put Troops on roofs or some places enemy cant reach... so they cant win and waste alot time staying around the buildings to attack units they cant reach. ;)

Even when the zombies had killed about 90 percent of the humans and the humans had barely killed half of the zombies, I knew the humans were going to win because of the guys they had on the rooftops. Without guns or explosives, the zombies have absolutely no way to get the guys on the rooftops, and the guys on the rooftops can snipe them out all day. (The benefits of having unlimited ammunition...)

How would a Zombie kill a tank? Wouldn't the tanks just drive over them? You would think them firing their rounds at such close range would more likely damage them or the other tanks.
