So there!" Then, Jackie just pushes him off, lol! They are such good parents and good, loving mates!!! 💞

We have a nesting pair of Bald Eagles high on a cliff overlooking Lake Natoma and Black Minors Bar State Park in Northern California which is about 25 miles northeast of Sacramento.They can be seen flying over the lake hunting fish and Canada Geese goslings. The adult geese are too big for the Eagles to prey on and they vigorously defend their goslings but it is hard for them to defend a large brood of 15-16 goslings. Nature in action! Great vid. I live north of Big Bear Lake in the Mojave Desert and we’ve been experiencing extremely high winds for three days. I believe Big Bear Lake is getting its wind from the desert which covers the east and north of these mountains. I hope the babies get jolted out of their shells but NOT out of the nest. Mom and dad prolly getting car sick.

I hate this wind, thought they were going to get blown Out of the nest at one time.
So dedicated and hard to watch at times, my heart breaks for her because she looks so miserable but I know you said they are built for this. I so want to see them have 3 healthy chicks but nothing is happening yet.

Great vid. I live north of Big Bear Lake in the Mojave Desert and we’ve been experiencing extremely high winds for three days. I believe Big Bear Lake is getting its wind from the desert which covers the east and north of these mountains. I hope the babies get jolted out of their shells but NOT out of the nest. Mom and dad prolly getting car sick.

Poor Jackie - she looks so miserable with her soggy plumage! But she is a very devoted mom and will protect the eggs with her body until they hatch. Mom of the Year candidate for sure ! ❤️🐈
