Agreed, music posted by Diversity and alike channels from 5-8 years ago was way more enjoyable then and now. I find myself often going back to the 'classics' form those channels over their newer releases.
I just can't help but think music produced nowadays is just lower in quality and less inspired, or if it's just my bias, because like most people here, this music was my first step into the genre. Does anybody feel the same dilemma? Hahaha

It really is "not the same as it used to be" and this time around we actually have the songs of then still widely available to compare. For me at least there is significant difference.
Looks like my music taste recollection was worth it. Listening to this makes me remember the days of Minecraft I used to spend on with some friends. Now this triggers some kind of feeling of nostalgia in me. I also enjoyed the anime so much but I couldn't understand why I did enjoyed it that much. This song makes me feel even better now xd

I'm missing the happiness, the fulfillment back when i was with my friends studied/playing games... Maybe i'm just a bit tired haha. Adult's world is too stressful. I want the joyful and no worries time back... Back when listening to EDM while playing games with friends, playing league. Now i couldn't play competitive games anymore, my hands shake too much from the prolong chronic stress. I'm 27 but felt like 50... Oh well, good song.
In my opinion the reason why classical music has survived and people who have actively enjoyed it for centuries is the same reason why I believe (most) dubstep has the potential to do the same is because they (mostly) lack words which tie them down to a specific generation, language, and nationality. Words are the worst thing to happen to music ever. They can be a good method of convieing a story or moral but that's why we invented books, art, articles, vlogs, blogs, and other such things. Music is meant to be an arrangement of sounds that please our ears and mind not a story that makes us think or ties us to it emotionally. Music's beauty should be derived from its simplicity. And as such to me this song was a more profound example of music than most any "song" being produced today. And for this and every other great wordless masterpiece of REAL music which has been posted on this channel and many like it I thank all dubstep artists and those that promote them for keeping the true meaning of music alive.

Mozart, beethoven and co. also created operas which are still listed to today. And there are vocals in a opera. I think that vocals are, like melody, essential for "good" music, but don't get me wrong, you also need good instrumental music of course.
