That was probably my fave song of the set. And, maybe, Love Shack, hahaa, which I couldn't get out of my head for a week. And I just started watching Stranger Things this week, so now I get why Should I Stay Or Should I Go was played.
I cannot stop playing Blinded me with Science. Whole set was absolute fun but man did Michael Travis nail it. Thank you so much for all your efforts TSG. Gladly subscribed and plenty shared your videos!

They do one special set during every Hula thats most if not all covers. Its always a fucking blast. the rest of their 7 sets are all typically normal cheese rotation songs

I am a huge SCI fan but there covers flat out stink. I have seen some cover shows/sets, but i am not a fan when the Swiss Cheese Incident shows up. If it is just a copy of the original, leave it alone. Take a lesson from Umphrey's on how to melt someone's face w/a cover.

Why is that? B/c SCI can't play covers? They just don't bring it for that. I love their jams, acoustic, and spacey performances. I have been to Hullaween shows and seen plenty of them. Fact is, they just stink at covers. If you are going to play a cover, make it your own and improve it...Don't just play a karaoke performance and pay lip service
Andrew Lewandowski - you are entitled to your opinion, even if it sucks ass, but to say that SCI doesn't "own" their covers and sound like a karaoke act is just plain asinine. I'd like to hear your band rock out for 20000 people and have them all shaking their booties- oh wait, your just some judgmental fan and not in the band's you pay money to see at Hulaween. And if the cover sets are so terrible, why keep going over and over. You sound petty & childish & like the guy who knows everything... Pull yourself together man & get with it- there is no such thing as the Swiss Cheese Incident. SCI brings the booty shaking sounds each & every time out- one of the few bands in all the world who can do so.
You're contradicting yourself Andrew.. To say this show was not anything short of spectacular is astonishing. Not only were the covers ON POINT, so many people worked there asses off to make it a truly unique and nostalgic experience of the 80s. From the band, to the performers and theatrics, to the sound crew, to the lighting director, to the festival promoters- this set was out of this world. You said you were there, right? Anyone in there right mind would appreciate how much time and effort goes into these Halloween cover sets- the covers were so tight and well rehearsed. Did you not witness Travis acting out She Blinded Me By Science or Jason dancing around and leading vocals on Love Shack, or Kyle ABSOLUTELY DESTROYING White Wedding or the women shooting grinders out of there pussy during Sweet Child O Mind. Also, to say that they need to "take a lesson" from Umphreys is hysterical!!!!! You're right, Umphreys melts faces- that's about the only thing they can do. Lets see them put together a set like this because they never will. Let alone host a festival like Hulaween. All covers aren't meant to "melt faces" either.... It's sad that you could not enjoy this set for what is was. I truly feel sorry for you... You should probably stop seeing this band if you're just gonna talk shit
Wow, what a world we live in when no one can criticize anything. I truly feel sorry for you and bloated aspect on reality. I bet everyone gets a trophy in your house for participating in life. I have seen this band enough to have the right to say anything (negative or positive). Cover songs are meant to be fun for all attending, and i was not there (I've been to plenty halloween and other shows). Again, i don't hate SCI, i just don't like their covers. I appreciate all that help the band fulfill shows like this, but not my cup of tea for this year.
