I pulled a green wave CJ stroud first box I opened last night… I live in Houston and it’s been pretty much impossible to find decent prism product in Walmart or retail in general so I got on Facebook marketplace and found a guy selling them for $30 a box. I bought eight boxes I opened one box in my truck before I started to drive home and boom Stroud Greenwave the card looks absolutely immaculate, perfectly centered, perfect edges and corners and I still have seven boxes to go
People like you that I can't stand buying up all the new releases. Ought to call you Sky Hog!!
This is cool but shit like this is why most of us will never find anything retail. More stores need to implement limits to these things imo.
Something I like about this guy though. In some of his videos, when he films while he goes to stores looking for cards. If he sees other people in the card section when he gets there, he’ll wait for them to get done getting what they want before he starts grabbing boxes. He also almost never buys all of a product off the shelf, unless there’s only a few boxes left or something. He usually leaves product for other people, he just goes around to multiple different stores and stocks up.

hey man i hope you didn't think i was taking shots at you yesterday as that wasn't the message i was conveying......all i ever really bought was retail due to not being able to even back then buy the higher end stuff. the larger breakers and panini have worked together to enrich themselves through a simple children's hobby to the point where everyday collectors can't afford it anymore and that's what really burns me about this whole issue.

Dude I have 5 walmarts and 2 targets near me and non of them really sell sports cards lol also all the stores here limit u to 4 packs on all tcg also online the prices for these at Walmart is 49.99 and at that price these boxes are shit 😑

So awesome to see this many get ripped! My wife and I did a rip of 4 for our channel but nothing huge, but then she went back to walmart and there was more so she bought four more for us to do a personal rip and we hit a CJ Stroud Silver, and a CJ Stroud green wave Prizm Break in the same pack!

It's funny the correlation, I bought a blaster that had CJ base, green prizmatic and green fireworks.
@@popsdyer731my wife helped me last year, I told her to pick up any update hangers she saw. She only picked up 7 or 8 but in those that she bought I got a Bobby Witt SP, Shohei Black Gold Black parallel and a Julio Orange. Believe it or not the Shohei and Bobby were in the same hanger

I found the Prizm Football hangers in the wild yesterday but had to go somewhat out of town to find them. Found that 💩 Absolute and I saw Donrusss football. I guess this was better than the Absolute rip🤷♂️ Think you still got A LOT of that bad juju from those 🗑️💩 rips that you need to wash off 💯

@@skybcards I don't do football so I left it for the football people. I did snag the last 22/23 Mosaic mega (never got the chance to rip one of those) and a 21/22 Optic and Prizm blaster that were on sale for $20 each
@bhdemoreel 2022 mosaic mega is a pretty random find, but don’t blame you for grabbing the discounted boxes that class is insane right now…. Hard to even do a top 5 list

Are hangers really bangers? I'm hesitant when it comes to this release. Have viewed more than 10 videos ripping hangers (approximately 80 boxes from all videos combined), and NONE of them pulled a single Laporta, Stroud, Gibbs, Rice, Richardson green wave card. Have only seen 1 Stroud base and 1 silver Stroud.
I pulled a few CJ green wave paralells, which I know isn’t what you’re looking for, but it’s nice knowing the potential is there. Don’t forget about Puka though!! Pulling 2 of him was nice 🔥

How are these better than blasters? $22 for 2 rookies, 1 silver, 4 other green. $30 for 6 rookies, 1 silver, 5 lasers. If rookies are the main chase, then for 30% more money you get 200% more rookies and 25% more color. The miniscule chance of a good numbered card does not outweigh that disparity. I fear that this is the year they are printing to the moon as their last ditch money making effort...
The ceiling is much higher in the hanger boxes, making them better. If you pull a gold or purple wave top rookie you are absolutely feasting

Fun to watch the rips, but man it really shows how people can lose a lot of money ripping boxes. $800 for the boxes and maybe $150 in return, a person could have just went out and bought 2 or 3 CJ Stroud green rookies.

Great video! Nice looking cards, but Prizm is Prizm. There’s a lot of those at my local Walmart. Everyone is passing on those and getting Mosaic and Donruss. Only Prizm product going off the shelves locally is blasters. I got three Mosaic hanger packs yesterday and a donruss blaster and done well.

@@skybcards Chiefs after they beat my beloved Lions because of two balls that that one receiver. I think both times by some miracle was able to grab it out of the air and hold on to it and then the Vikings score twice from it. They beat my Lions. Of course. That being said, it was the Lions game to lose in the end, but if it wasn't for those two, I don't know how he contorted his body to catch those football catches. I think the Lions would have had it but they played like champs so there's really nothing to be too disappointed about. There is no doubt within the next 5 years. They're taking a super boy with this year's rookie class is on. It stays healthy hand and hooker in support in case we need them and with Jared Goff leading the team, I don't see anything but a super bowl in the team's future
