Loved this tutorial Sapta! You actually dont need to create two separate animations for this toggle. Developers just need to set direction of animation in Lottie player to play it in reverse direction.
That was a fun meme said designer creat this day/night toggle but the developers will ruin :)) Now with the Lottie we can do anything. Thanks for this great tutorial.
Nice one Saptarshi, loved it. Thank you! So is it that whenever we need to share animations with the dev team, we need to create lottie files or is there any other way to do it from within figma? Please guide!
Hey Sapta, I'm curious to know how the team at Swiggy puts the confetti 🎊 across the app. Is it a JSON or gif? I created a confetti animation using cc particular effect in AE but lottie doesn't recognise it. Do you know how to go about creating confetti that lottie can recognise?
Hey Sapta, Thanks for the amazing tutorial. Curious to know your thoughts on RIVE. Is it worth learning? Will protopie suffice for Product Design? P.S: Have learnt a huge deal on fundamentals of motion from your blogs, talks and the much famous After Effects motion masterclass
sir, would u shoow us how you export ur figma files for after effcet?? i use aeux but, it lost so many data and font and shapes. more over, it creates huge precompose inside after effcet one into one!!1 sucks!! any alternative good way??
Thank you, this is like the only helpful resource I’ve found on the web for dealing with the Lottie plugin 😅 Quick question - does Lottie not support a flattened vector shape? I can’t find anything in the documentation, and it only works when the shapes are grouped or Unioned, not flattened
@@saptarshipr Thanks! With a union shape, it was individually animating the shapes in the union, even when they are in a group. With a flatted shape, it was just a complete error.. I found a workaround though 👍

They are all Lotties 😀
@@saptarshipr got it. That means each particle is a shape layer and is animated manually? Or is there a better way to do it?

It should work with flattened one as well. I haven’t tried it personally though
