After watching the video I remember a quote. “If you can't do great things, do small things in a great way.” -Napoleon Hill
Well said!
This comment is 2 years old . Wow!
Actually u got that job because of your extraordinary communication skills.. your style of speaking and pronounciation is clear and to the point.. that's give an edge over other designer as well..
..Love for the brilliant work u do.. #designlife
Damn it was truly nostalgic to see 2015 UI interface and its mock ups screen and of course, thank you for this detailed information.
Your every video is so professional and full of knowledge! Great work, keep it up!
Thank you very much!
Very honest and a valuable explanations about the case study. Thank you sir. 👍
Thank you for the video!
All your videos add value to our lives as a designer, and your videos are very much motivating. In fact, after seeing some of your videos I decided to choose UI/UX (designing as a whole) as a career option rather than keeping it as my hobby. I have a humble yet awkward request, the intro and outro music you use is really inspiring, can you please share a link to it so that I can enjoy it to the fullest?
Really thankful
Hey Sapta, this is great a video! Thanks a ton, keep going!
Glad you liked it! Thank you, Alisha :)
Beautifully done!
Thank you very much!
You did a great job. I'm preparing the first case studies this video helps me a lot for a better presentation of a case study and showing process.
Great to know that Avesh. I Would highly recommend you check out my other video on portfolio as well. ruclips.net/video/siau9a6YLm0/видео.html
@@saptarshipr Thank you for replying.
Really amazing ❤️
👍Cheers to the possibilities & the faith in possibilities 🤩🚀🚀🚀
Awesome bhaiya 😍. Love to watch your videos ❤️
Thank you so much, Alok 😀
Insightful 👍
Thank you
Hey Sapta, this is a great one for beginners like me. Myself being around here for the first time thought of subscribing to your channel without second thought. Eagerly waiting for your upcoming videos.
You are most welcome! :)
I think you did an extremely outstanding job by then! It was just next to impossible to give a thought about why can't we use the same medium to send money if we could send videos n photos! People would've merely been able to give thoughts about such implementations at that time.
Fairly decent, whatever happens, it happens for a reason.
ADB for future endeavors.
Hey there as you said that the companies are raising the bars for designers if we compare 2015 to now 21 what according to you will be the key or ares of improvement one should work on to a land a internship or a job ( you are doing a great job subbed )
Can you please make a video on what are the important aspects which we should focus on while doing case study to make it more precise and efficient.
Hey sapta , I have been watching your videos for a month and I really like your content, mostly everyone have advises for engineering students about getting placement or improving skills and their experiences then I found your channel . You are amazing with your content as well as explainations. Can you suggest some skills and road map that helps getting off campus placement.
Awesome... :)
Hey Sapta, great video, very insightful. But I would also like to know that which points are essential to cover in a case study for a beginner. Might make a whole new video about it.
Thanks for the feedback :) I actually have a video on the same. ruclips.net/video/siau9a6YLm0/видео.html
@@saptarshipr Thanks a bunch, looking forward to watching it!
well, you can be in india but your phone number could be from somewhere else, an example for this: in spain there are some car sharing apps like uber, but they don't work with numbers from outside the country (specifically estonian numbers), there are also food delivery apps that force you to use Spanish numbers, if you are traveling say... for a holiday or for business, and you want to order food to your hotel or to your family's house/flat you wouldn't be able to do so.
Please what's the name of the app/site you used to present your designs in mobile and pad forms?
Great video! Just a question - I like the overall design of the Swiggy app, just wanted to know is there a reason for keeping the font size too small? I mean, it's the smallest font size I have ever seen on any mobile app interface.
Thank you, Aditya :) Well, our product is such that we are bound to crunch in a lot of content in very little space. Hence the font sizes may feel relatively smaller. Also, the way any element renders on the screen depends largely on the DPI of the device. So, if you have a high end device with higher DPI, you will most likely see things even smaller. Anyways, we are trying to address some of these issues. You may see some changes soon :)
@@saptarshipr Yes, fair enough. Just letting you know, I really LOVE the interface. Also, excited to see the changes!
I really appreciate your content. I'm a freelance motion graphics designer since 2015. I want to know how much I charge for a motion graphics video like 1 minutes. Please make a separate video on this topic. I know this question little bit confusing. Because all depends on video script, character etc. But I want to know how we judge our project and charge accordingly.
Hi Sapta. Can you guide with some best UIUX designing courses? As there are a lot of videos and courses available with different content, I am not able to choose which one to go with to make the fundamentals strong.
Hello sir can you tell us what type of software do we need to make ui
Hey sapta, m a student who is just planning on getting into ui ux stuff and what'd be better to do a pg in graphic designing or a diploma in ui ux will you please please help me cause I've this confusion and I really need answers
Hey man I love the way you explain things with atmost clarity , I was working on my portfolio and the first company I want to work with is swiggy that too in banglore and my manager should be you, I wish it will be possible and see you soon in the company :) Aditya
Ha ha.. I m sure that will happen soon :) All the best!
Tqq somuch❤️
Hey Sapta. I learnt something from your video - how a great idea can help solve a problem and
to think on these lines. I have a question for you -I am a visualizer who is focusing on
my UI designs and UI motion designing. Is it necessary to show a case study in my
portfolio to get a job? and how is the scope for motion design in Bangalore?
I am looking for more valuable content related to UX design.
I am currently studying in 10th. I am aspiring to be a UX designer. Which stream should I choose for 11th, 12th??. Love your content ❤️
What can we do if someone steals our app idea, tweak it little bit and present it as his own creation?
Well explained 👏
Thank you 🙂
What would get us shortlisted for Swiggy now xD?😛
Sapta, pls make a video on how to analyse or give feedback to design made by team and make it better.
I feel very low confidence when to review even my design can't say I did wrong please help
Hi sapta 👋🏽,
Loved this video. Also it would be really helpful if you can put up a video of what a good ux portfolio looks like or should look like and maybe review some of them ! Thank you ☺
Sure.. Let me plan that. Btw, I already have a video on portfolios. You can check this out. ruclips.net/video/siau9a6YLm0/видео.html
Can you bring a video regarding course curriculum of B.des IDC iit Bombay with SARGAM or any other student of IDC,,, many want to know what exactly happen in those 4 years
Hey I just wrote my first UX case study yesterday and it’s also based on a mock app 😅.
Nice! What is it about?
Hi Saptarshi! We are truly amazed to see your work. Could you please help us understand where to find and how to hire quality UI/UX designers for our Startup?
Hey Sapta, big fan of your work since a long time. I've done some of your Motion Design Masterclass as well.
My only question is how do you start applying for a design job as a fresher? As you are also an engineer, so I thought you can help me with this. Please do share your answer.
Hey Aditya.. Thanks for liking my content. Well, short answer is to have a portfolio, a good one. I have a video on that already ruclips.net/video/siau9a6YLm0/видео.html
Year of the case study
This was in early 2015
@@saptarshipr is this before housing 🤔
Why did you make a different app? Why didn't you implement this as a feature into a texting app such as Whatsapp?
What's the difference between ux and ui desginer ?
Do i need a degree or something like that to be a designer
This was helpful!!! Can you share some sample of good ux case study to refer???
Yes, I do have a couple of them in my mind. I think I can make a video on it.
@@saptarshipr thanks that will be awesome 👍🏻
I dont understand English but apka design whatsapp jaisa hai ashan hai ,or bahiya lighting thodi hard hai apke face me
Hi, Sapta so glad for this insightful advice, I wanted to know can we present our portfolio in an animation cum video manner that could be shared through the link?
You can do it using tools like Loom. You can present your screen as well as speak with your video on.
@@saptarshipr Thank you so much for this, I would really try it on my portfolio :))
Few of my coder friends told me that my designs are complex to code. Well I don’t have any coding idea. Is this really a value point that simple minimalist web designs are hard to code?
Well, some things can be infeasible, technically. But more often, I have seen that it has got to do with the skill level of the developer. I have worked with some kickass developers and they can nail anything you throw at them!.
@@saptarshipr Thanks sir for the information and help😇
A beginner question- is UX mainly for App design?
UX = User Experience. There is an experience (good or bad) of using anything, be it a food processor or a mobile app. So yes, UX design can be for anything from physical devices all the way upto digital apps. When you arrange your work desk in a way so that the things that you use more often are placed within your hand's reach etc., you are essentially designing the experience for the user of that desk which is -- YOU, in this case :)
I created an e commerce app nd presented its case study in my portfolio nd even shared it in interview but I get stuck on a question that what is the difference between your app and famous apps like Amazon Myntra? What should I answer? I usually say I made a clear interface but this answer is not satisfactory. Anybody can help what should I answe?
I've a doubt!
1. One has awesome case study idea with excellent branding. But the UI is average.
2. Other has a good UI and visuals but a very average case study / idea.
Which of these two will be more valued as a fresher?
Remember, the 'idea' alone isn't the case study. The case study is a combination of the idea, how you approached it and the process you followed to find the solution.
Hi sapta sir, I am from tamilnadu. I don't have degree but I love to design. Can you pls tell me sapta sir is that any chance I can get job in design field. 6 years ago .. there weren't even that many UX designers comapred to it is now. Its getting harder and harder to get into UX because of how saturated it is now. Look at the UX Bootcamps and you will know what i mean
ur portfolio?
I once read on Twitter that the entire development is just applying if-else...
should i know coding for ux designing
Nope.. Not at all :)
Did u know ur name is an anagram for Starship A?
😯🙀I didn't know that 😀 That's a great observation!
Do I need case studies if I'm just a UI designer ? I don't do UX
Two parts to this answer..
1. Yes, you can / should still have case studies. UI design also has its process - How you arrived at a style, what made you take certain call etc.
2. Why would you want to remain only-UI designer?
@@saptarshipr My main passion is 3d illustration however I also like designing interfaces thus I was also looking to learn this skill. Basically I'm a visual design guy, UX is not my forte. Thanks for your reply Sapta, appreciate it 🙏
So you preach for UX everywhere but mostly teach and do UI animations? I have been following you for long and most of your shots only had simple After effects animations. Was this your hack to get into product design? 🤭
Try doing only the things you have mentioned. Let me know if you succeed 😉
idk if anybody has told you this, but u kinda look like Frank Lampard
Looks like WhatsApp pay stole your idea :)
😂😂 I dont mind believing so
Bhai hindi me bole iss leye log tujhe subscribe nahi Kar rahai hai
Due to intro I had subscribed but after unsubscribed not useful people want more basic how to begin mostly.
There is a different video for the details on how a portfolio should be. Well, subscribing is your wish :)
