At what point in what place was I supposed to realize that, there’s no clues, outside of him wearing the same clothes. If that’s the case and it’s another version, the episode did a poor version of explaining or it’s being spoiled for me for a next episode.

He’d just been in the kitchen washing his hands while Jason 1 was on the back porch. Plus, Jason 2 wasn’t wearing the same clothes that night that Jason 1 had been wearing. Also, Jason 1 and Jason 3 (finger splint Jason) both were wearing the rubber band in place of the wedding band.

Jason actually comes across Max in the similar universe. Max didn't die, and he's angry because he has survivor's guilt because he has the heart of the girl who died, and he hasn't not made much of his life since he survived that life-saving 3rd heart surgery. That's why he feels like he's such a "disappointment." PLEASE watch the scene again. Also, when Jason first sneaks in the house to spy on the family you can see TWO boys in the family photo at the bottom of the stairs. It's blurry, but it's there. Later, when Jason writes in the journal to get back to his real home, he explains that he was choosing to leave a universe where he almost stole another Jason's life and Max was alive. I don't know how you missed all that.
I agree, this review MISSED several important plot-points. The two that you mention, plus the HUGE reveal at the end: there are MULTIPLE Jasons' now in Jason1's world. Neither of the Jasons in the gun-shop was Evil Jason, aka: Jason2. There's also a possibility of a "time warp"--the second Jason that comes into the gun shop says EXACTLY the same thing to the clerk. He's also dressed exactly like the first Jason that came into the gun shop...which means he's not Jason2. The clothes are the clothes Jason1 had when he arrived at the farewell dinner with Amanda. This review missed a LOT.

At the end of the episode, can anyone see if the first Jason is wearing the wedding ring made from what I gather is twine? Which of course is what the original Jason starting wearing after being sent to the alternate universe.
Yeah it’s sad but isn’t that the thing about the ideas of the choices we make. It’s why I brought up family man, he saw a better world based of a choice he didn’t make and it was sad, here same thing. If they’d only met in another life.

And then the real irony, about holes in the plot is that you haven’t got a problem what so ever with the Utopian Chicago. If it’s based on Amanda’s wish of ‘radical empathy’, surely that Chicago would have far more Native American influences, people etc? It’s debatable, but of all the issues you have with the episode that wasn’t one……food for thought.

I think both of them going to the same gun shop is because that was the closest shop. Jason one is literally on foot. It did baffle me that jason2 went to buy a gun. 😂
Yea they threw that one in there. I did notice the snap the time when this new Jason went to the house but stopped cause he heard her laughing and talking with someone. I got kinda confused but didn't realize it was another Jason
@@theprince6590 over a hundred Jason's split from Jason 1 during his time in the box and corridor. There will be many versions of Jason 1 coming home to get rid of Jason 2 and get back to their Daniela. They are all split from our original Jason. That's how the book ends.

If I'm right, it has something to do with the super-positioning, that is somehow being interfered with. The next episode will definitely confirm there is a Jason3...but, may not explain "how" he came to be until the final episode. That my theory.
That’s the thing, I appreciate that you get my point but it’s not obvious that it’s Jason 3. If so then I’m guessing that’s something that will be addressed in the next episode. Either way it would make more sense at that point. See that’s why this episode frustrated me because it’s getting into fundamental scripting 101.

My issue with this episode was, where the heck were they getting funds to pay for everything?? in every world?? Was there no need for cash in any other world? By that I mean in all the other worlds over the last 29 days. Did they just happen to run into the box with all their credit cards and funds intact? As for Jason 2 going to the same gun shop after Jason 1, I disagree with you there. I believe its because the second gun shop Jason is NOT Jason 2... its more than likely a newly formed Jason 3. It explains why he went to the gun shop as he had similar motives... unless I missed where Jason 2 broke his finger... That was my immediate take on that which for me was a nice twist.
