This was a GAME CHANGER for a pina colada recipie I was developing for the last 5 months or so. I'd been trying just about everything to get the flavor of pineapple to cut against acid adjusted pineapple juice, but everything just got masked or changed the flavor profile. This flavor does a really interesting thing where it brings a lot of coconut flavor up front, but as you breathe after taking a sip, the vapors come back up and create a really pleasant subtle lingering after taste of coconut. It feels like magic adding it to cocktails!
Any recommended replacements for diacetyl? Doesn’t look like it’s readily available (in the US anyway). Either way, thanks for this. Coconut is one of my favorite flavors!
hello , hard to find in my country because cant know the name in spanish like this gamma octalactone i search for it in webs sites cant find it . but i find Propilenglicol Usp (Propylene Glycol ) thats very hard to find all ingredients if some one knows about this in Spanish plz ! let me know ! thx !

There are at least a dozen names for gamma octalactone in use, so perhaps search by another name or a translation of another name.
