Better than donuts! So GOOD! and they're Egg free

These babies are egg and dairy free (happy dance) Melt-in-your mouth soft and kids go crazy for them! I actually think they are better than donuts.
In East Africa, these number 8 shaped clouds of love are called 'visheti vya no. 8'
The important stuff, to make these you need:
All purpose flour - 2 cups
Coconut milk 1- 1½ cups
1 ½ tsp instant yeast
2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp melted butter (use margarine for a dairy free option)
Syrup:
1 tsp Cardamom
1 cup sugar
¾ cup water
