I remember a post about the Black Sails characters all being versions of each other and Billy Bones was whoever he hates most at any given moment, and also an omen; this really evokes that. I feel your edit really captured the tragedy of his nature and I wish there were more edits of him! Absolutely fantastic tragic tribute
