Proper WAKE THIEF DOWNWINDERS - Full Ride & POV Footage

Thieving boat wakes from a Dockstart and following them around for minutes with wind from the back. Probably the most fun thing to to on a lake in east Germany. The freedom you get from controlled gliding threw the lake is just amazing. It feels so wrong to pass sailboats while staying up above the water in the middle of a lake but the stoke you get from it is unreal. Also the fact that its quite stressful if you fall makes the whole thing a lot more rewarding when you make it back to shore without swimming and worrying about all those boats. This was my first and until now last session on the F-One Phantom 1780. I've really enjoyed this Foil for this purpose as it behaves extremely controlled in a boat wake, while still being playful. Cant wait to do more of exactly this!

Very nice ride, cool! Do you think it is possible to ride the wave on Gong Zuma 140 L board?

Thanks man! Possible Definitely, but the Dock start will be almost impossible on a 140 L board as its not so easy to hold it and has more swing weight..

Hi, great video! Do you think such a ride would also be possible with the Indiana 1100P?

I think it would be way more easy on the 1100P as it has 500 square centimeters more area and therefore needs way less speed to keep it from stalling. Also the Dock start to ride into the wave will be easier on it for shure! Best Greetings :)

Really great rides! We cheered on your way pumping the long way back to the shore👏 The water temperatures are not nice.
Did you had to change the holes on your pocket board? Or is it the same hole pattern for the mast adapter as GONG is using?

Thanks! Slowly the water is getting uncomfortably cold... The holes are still the same and work for almost every Foil as Gong used the standard distance in between the holes :)
