Exploring Panchase EP. 2 | Switchback Adventures | Off-road | MTB | Nepal
This episode features our second day at Panchase - an exciting day full of adventure where we explore nearby hiking, mountain biking and dirt biking trails. Our whole team split up choosing different activities, taking different paths to experience the thrill and beauty of this extraordinary place.
The hiking trail was a peaceful one - an average difficulty level path which was well paved by stones up to the top where you come across a monastery, a lake and beautiful sceneries of hills and the whole mountain range.
There were plenty of trails for mountain biking too where we got to explore several of them during our stay. The single tracks were amazing - lots of stairs, switchbacks, rock gardens, natural jumps and open terrains with a huge backdrop. Our boys surely enjoyed this one!
The dirt bike trail was an enduro! Single tracks were amazing that tested riding skills, techniques, strengths and stamina of our riders pretty well. There were lot points where our riders had to get off and push their bikes through tight steep rocky sections. The trail was all-natural! Didn't fail to excite our riders, not even at single section.
Our rendezvous was in the middle of the jungle, at the the trail where our dirt riders got stuck and had to radio hikers and mountain bikers for rescue. After all the members assembled; we gathered up with the essentials like tools and basic supplies. We took a short break, got fueled up and headed back to the camp site supporting and pushing each other. Few crashes and hilarious moment on the trails really got the energy levels high.
Atlas, all our team members reached the campsite safely, closing the day with beautiful sunset and the night followed by campfire, barbeque, drinks, local daal bhat and lots and lots of gags about the days highlight moments.
There are still lot of trails left untouched and unexplored at Panchase. We surely can't break them all at once. However, there's always a next time. We definitely look forward to go back and ride those trails again.
On our next episode, we'll be heading back and dropping down from Panchase like crazy! Mountain bikers and dirt bikers riding down racing, pushing and playing on wheels together on the way back! Don't miss out! Stay tuned!
