I was impressed by the coach.
He is the only Jamaica coach, I have seen come up with a sensible game plan that suits the players and organise the tactics in a way that made sense, in a long time.
The coach had a full plan, not half a plan like most of our coach's, including Hall.
We were very organised and compact but still offered a threat on the counter.
Spence was very impressive in midfield.
The Girlz are our best team by a long long way. They have good players, an unbiased selection process and a competent coach. The mens team just has some good players.
The Girlz can always be relied upon to lift the spirits of the fans, when all the other teams try to send us mad.

Donaldson is far more experienced than Hall and our other National team coaches as a Head coach. People don't always agree with his approach or tactics, but there is a clear method to his decisions.

@Football From Yard thank you. Facts bro.
I can understand some not liking his tactics, not necessarily the prettiest style but there is definitely a method to the decisions.
He had a full plan. Most of the other coach's have half a plan and tactically, one half of the plan, mashes up the other half.
Example, Hall pressing high against Mexico and defending deep at the same time.
Defending deep, is a plan, pressing high, is a plan but the two cannot work together.
I don't need to necessarily see the greatest football or tactics that I like but just have a plan that fully makes sense fam.

@@wunwun8875 because of his Pro License and ability to sweet talk reporters, people sometimes forget that Hall is still learning in terms of being primarily responsible for decisions made and making decisions in a practical environment instead of a theoretical ("i am going to coach like Pep") environment. and some also want to avoid blaming him for choices because of the discomfort it makes them feel that he is replicating some of Whitmore's mistakes. Whitmore didn't play without a CDM in a meaningful match until Hall became his assistant. he was usually criticized for using too many of them prior to Hall's arrival. Hall has now reverted to Whitmore's approach of a conservative midfield and his results improved.
As for Donaldson he has loads of practical experience. he is the head of his club, which has been a top producers of USA players (the two USA wingers on the women's team are his players). before that, he was also a top men's club coach in the USA pre MLS. Someone like him should be on the JFF technical committee. but he is pretty outspoken, so i can see that going downhill quickly.
