I like the way Marranzano died, he kept comparing his business to Roman Empire and he was stabbed to death just like Ceasar, with a statue of Ceasar in his hand
+Wang Mingjian I read an interview with Terrence Winter in which he stated that there was a statue just like that in the office of Marranzano when he got stabbed. Cool detail.
I think people need to understand that this is Nucky Thomson's story. Yes there were other major players, but that was all mostly background noise. Its disappointing that there was no Valentine's Day massacre and other events, but this is Nucky's story.
William Anderson true that :D I guess Boardwalk kind of set the bar pretty high, and though Michael is a great actor, i think it's hard to go beyond that :D I heard he's great in Iceman but i haven't watched it yet, so i cannot form an opinion
GWAAN Totherocket Shannon is great in The Iceman, in my opinion the movie isn't bad but it had a lot of issues, but that's just me. Hopefully you find it so you can watch it :)
Everybody dies in the end that's the way life goes, it is not how long one lived but the contribution to the life lived. Everybody dies in the end, life is sensation, when one is alive he feels sensation, when he dies, sensation ceases, there is nothing to fear because there will be nothing to feel. Everybody dies in the end.
The end was the directors choice for better or worse. In reality Nucky went to prison for a bit, came out a rich man, his girl was there waiting as well and he lived a long (for those days) happy life.
Great tv series, one of the best imo. Too bad they - writer - rushed to finish it. Season 5 had only 8 episodes and too many unfilled gaps. They killed Arnold Rothstein off-screen, goddammit, one of the best characters... Also, the way Nucky died sucked. I mean, how Tommy found out Nucky killed his father? Richard was dead already and he was out of town... Gillian kept in touch with him? They exchanged letters? It could've been better, I think.
they should've made the 5th season about 1928 and then skipped to 1931 in a sixth one cuz while they thought five seasons were enough, I think that a season before this one would've been better to fill in gaps with like rothstein and how narcisse went from being a powerful gangster to a wimpy ass hoe the way he is in the fifth season. maybe luciano and lansky. but yeah thats a good point how tf did he know about gillian and nucky? there was 0 contact with the outside world the only contact she had was nucky.
Get a forehead reduction. Yeah man, a sixth season was all we needed. Too bad it didn't happen. Hope they make a Luciano-Lansky spin-off some time in the future.
I love that suicide scene. Really shows how much he doesn't care anymore, no hesitation. He got himself into a shit spot. "Oh no, everything's gonna work out just fine" BANG

Writers rushed season 5 imo. I hated that Chalky was killed... But Dr. Narcisse, i had a hate boner for that bastard.
Just rewatched Season 4 on Amazon Prime. Freakin' awesome! Wish it would've cont'd for 2 more seasons. There is nothing on @ all to look forward to now. Anything that was great goes away. :(
+nr1pimme I actually was trying to see if the show was worth watching till the end. I just came off from PEAKY BLINDERS high (sooooooo goood - everyone must see it!!!). Unfortunately I stopped Boardwalk somewhere in season 3. Everybody just got so annoying. Maybe that's why Terrence winter killed them all off!
The only ones who made it out alive are Eli Thompson and Margret. Margret will do well for herself and live to an old ripe age. Eli probably shaves, heads out west and starts a new life. Tommy is murdered in prison a few years later. Al, Charlie, and Mayer all die in prison.
Luciano and lansky both died outside of prison. Luciano was deported back to Italy after being released for helping the US during WW2 by Thomas Dewey and lansky died at home of natural causes
In my opinion the series started going downhill because they killed off Jimmy Darmody too early. He was my favourite character. Also Nelson's death was such an anticlimax after he had been running for so many years.
i hated jimmy. he was a terrible businessman and gangster in general. they killed him off because the actor (Michael Pitt) was getting in fights and always showing up late. i was hoping he'd be kill off much earlier.
they were gonna keep darmody in the show for longer and later kill him off but the actor who played the commodore was diagnosed with cancer and his screentime was reduced because of his condition and used darmody as the head of the rebellion to fill in the gaps of the actor's absence. Otherwise Darmody would have lived a bit longer
It’s a shame you don’t get to see Arnold rothsteins death. He was assassinated in 1928 in real life he owed a LOT of people a LOT of money. He was invited to a card game and he thought he would win back all the money but it was a set up. And he got shot in the stomach and then surprisingly he got a cab to the hospital and was in the hospital for a couple of days then Passed away and the cops tried to get him to squeal. He never said anything about lucky Luciano or Meyer lansky. Lucky Luciano died in 1962 when he had a heart attack in a airport he was going to talk to a movie director Martin Gosch about making a Movie about his life when he had a Heart Attack. Meyer Lansky was the real Lucky one. He got to live to his old age which is rare in that type of life. He supposedly hided 300 Million Dollars that has Never Been Found. He passed away of I think maybe Lung cancer in January 1983. And Al Capone Obviously went to Prison for Tax Evasion but Was let out cause he was so ill. He Had I think Typhoid and Extreme Dementia to the point where he couldn’t even remember what he ate for breakfast and Started Hallucinating. He Passed away he had a stroke and Somehow survived that but then had another cardiac arrest and internal bleeding and he Passed away in 1947 at the age of 48. He Apparently Hided 10 Million Dollars somewhere. There Is A Movie About Al Capone Called Capone and Tom Hardy plays Al Capone. It’s okay not that good though but it has a lot of information on Al Capone.
Nucky's death was so terribly predictable. I was hoping for something more clever. It being Tommy is forced as hell. That may have work if the 5th season wasn't rushed, but I don't like this ending at all.
i wished they explained how tommy knew it was nucky who killed his father and left his grandmother to rot; like he never actually met nucky, had no contact with gillian, richard was dead so he couldnt tell him and i doubt richard's girlfriend or sister would ever tell him sooooooo how did he know lol
To be honest I thought his death was incredibly surprising. The FBI stuff led me to think they were going to go the historical route and he'd end up in prison just like his real life counterpart. Tommy's role as his assassin was one of the best parts of the whole show. The major point BE is making is that the bad you do will eventually catch up to you and you can try to mitigate it, fight back, and squiggle your way out but it'll still eventually get you. Having a product of his first big sin (Jimmy being conceived by that act and then Gillian also being the architect of the death) was highly symbolic. The fifth season is so underrated. Yes, they compressed it to 8 episodes and things were left out, but every single scene had purpose and although it would've been nice to get a 1929 season with Rothstein's death, St Valentines massacre and the crash of the stock market, they did an incredible job at ending the show in a meaningful, beautiful way with the time they had.
I saw people making theories that it was Tommy, but I didn't believe them because I thought that would be too stupid. But then bam, he was back and I knew it was going to happen. The writing in the second half of the season was so rushed and weak. First 3 seasons were amazing though, I'll always have them.
I don't know if being a high-profile gangster was anything like this in real life, but if it was it seems to me that you'd have to be a complete idiot to get into that line of "business". Simple statistics should have been enough to dissuade anyone from such a life.
one of the stupidest endings to a show. Spent the whole last season ramping up luciano to be a psycho (thanks to the short last season) and trying to make us care about the woman who raped her son. So dumb.
I wanted D'Angelo to die the whole season so bad why did Nelson have to die lol and I was kinda sad about Chalky's death but mickey's death so foreseeable in the last episode but he could've easily avoided that lol. i didn't really notice archie was dead until nucky told tommy that at the club and i went back to that scene. Finally, nucky's didn't make any sense imo
It was a great series. But calm down, folks it's mainly fiction. The Darmodys never existed and the Nucky upon whom the series was based died in 1968 at the 85. ...After a considerable stint in prison.
A great show. But they dropped the ball in the last season. They had enough historical data to make 6 seasons. Jumping ahead 7 years made the 5th season especially with only 8 eps harder to become attached. The 5th season should have been part of 1928 (open on rothsteins death) and then into 1929 where we see the brutal attempted murder of luciano, see how the capone business got so large. All the ppl that capone killed to get his seat power happened in 1929. And then make s6 nucks conversion to legit businessman. All im saying they missed a great opportunity to make the show meatier and more fulfilling. I mean the lack of care in ending chalky and van aldens stories were kinda upsetting. They both dropped in the same ep and didnt feel right, they felt rushed. Oh well i can still enjoy the show...just always wanting more.
The whole series messed up killing off Jimmy, he was supposed to be Nucky's rival throughout the entire show, but the guy who played him was such an asshole on set, they wanted rid of him. But the 5th season was really frustrating, racing to try and tie up stories and completely ruining them.
Yeah, his eyes were clothes so he/we couldn't see when those fellas got mowed down. Imagine him opening his eyes and HIS real crew standing there, and those other guys are on the ground. I mean he already lost his daughter..... So hurtful. Would be great to see him in some sort of continuation.
Season 4 then 5 wasn't good. The main deaths where too artsy. All that chalky vs Narcisse stuff went on too long. Van Alden & Eli outstayed their welcome.
Historically, It was Joe Adonis, Albert Anastasia, and Vito Genovese, who, after Luciano was arrested, would take over as boss and lead the Genovese Crime Family.

+Wang Mingjian I read an interview with Terrence Winter in which he stated that there was a statue just like that in the office of Marranzano when he got stabbed. Cool detail.
+BOXINGTELLIGENTSIA He was stabbed and shot to death in the Helmsley building which still stands today.
Yes happened to read that fact. At Grand Central Station.
Caesar
Makes you feel sorry for poor Caesar, seeing as he didn't get a mercy shot to the head.
Jimmy was right. "When you run out of booze, you run out of company"
Well, yeah. Alcohol Prohibition wasn't going last forever. Even in the twenties, the writing was on the wall.
Needed a sixth season. No Valentine's Day massacre or north side Chicago gang war with Capone. No Atlanta conference. No Arnold rothstein... Sad
That's because Terrance Winter is an idiot and thought he'd get an infinite number of seasons.
Maybe they could try a spinoff series.
They briefly mentioned Rothstein's death in this season. A bit of a cop out for one of the main characters but they did talk about his passing.
They did have the Valentine's day massacre though. I don't know exactly which episode but they did it.
I think people need to understand that this is Nucky Thomson's story. Yes there were other major players, but that was all mostly background noise. Its disappointing that there was no Valentine's Day massacre and other events, but this is Nucky's story.
The moment Nucky killed Jimmy, was the moment the show went downhill for me.
I hated Jimmy’s death
Narcisse death was hilarious, the way he tried to straighten himself up after taking his first bullet 😂
Like he could walk the bullets off lol
Simon wadsley That asshole deserved it. Sad what happened to chalky.
Shock will do that to you.
Clue- Capone did it in the study with the Empire State Building.
You can hear Graham's accent slip in that scene too. Not that I'm complaining, just an observation.
On the desk, next to the elephants
Damn, General Zod went down quick...
William Anderson Van Alden was actually more badass that Zod :))
GWAAN Totherocket Yeah, I agree Michael Shannon was amazing on this show.
William Anderson true that :D
I guess Boardwalk kind of set the bar pretty high, and though Michael is a great actor, i think it's hard to go beyond that :D
I heard he's great in Iceman but i haven't watched it yet, so i cannot form an opinion
GWAAN Totherocket Shannon is great in The Iceman, in my opinion the movie isn't bad but it had a lot of issues, but that's just me. Hopefully you find it so you can watch it :)
I WILL FIND HIM!
I like these American dramas, they get right into the characters alleged psychology.Has you vicariously entwined.Clever stuff.
0:49 “COSA FAI???” Have a good sleep with the fish, Masseria
The first death reminded me of Budd Dwyer
AshGBoxing I was thinking the same
Buds death was in vain..He would have gotten off
Same
Exactly! Budd's was a little more dramatic.
@@dalemcilwain why ? because it was at a press conference on TV?
This series were awsome!
+Vargyas Szabolcs was*
+Bascorasco If you are going to do that you forgot........ Awesome*
Agree I watched it from start to finish every morning last summer.
One on the greatest shows ever.
What goes around, comes around.
hell yeah
Thank you so much for uploading this video!!!!
definitely could've gone another season but given what they had on the table, pretty bittersweet ending if you ask me
in a weird way I wish mickey wouldn't have gotten killed even though he was wan idiot he actually brought some comedic relief to those tense moments
pso89 to be fair he did make it till the end
I'm amazed he survived as long as he did
Everybody dies in the end that's the way life goes, it is not how long one lived but the contribution to the life lived. Everybody dies in the end, life is sensation, when one is alive he feels sensation, when he dies, sensation ceases, there is nothing to fear because there will be nothing to feel. Everybody dies in the end.
Condience? It looks like nucky got shot in the same spot like jimmy did
The end was the directors choice for better or worse. In reality Nucky went to prison for a bit, came out a rich man, his girl was there waiting as well and he lived a long (for those days) happy life.
04:15.. Omar's coming!
On 2Wheels I
Just finished watching this show for the first time, too many people die on this to not expect someone to die
Nobody goes quietly
0:17 i fucking love that shit!!!
Guy must have a thick skull to shrug off a hit with a hammer.
0:49 The Guns Going Off Funny Ha Ha Ha
Great tv series, one of the best imo. Too bad they - writer - rushed to finish it. Season 5 had only 8 episodes and too many unfilled gaps. Cesar Fonseca a spin off would be great too but would be a shame if they didn't
The Street knew Nucky killed Jimmy. Probably easy to find out.
The real Enoch Johnson died of natural causes in 1968.
How Eli made it out alive I’ll never understand.
i want to see the show continue about the rise of ny empire with same actors and writers be awesome
What the fuck! Thank‘s! 😳
Hey man...nice shot
Fact that time period was just as brutal and violent.
Poor guy got his brains blown out on sopranos now gets shot on the same side
I love that suicide scene. Really shows how much he doesn't care anymore, no hesitation. He got himself into a shit spot. "Oh no, everything's gonna work out just fine" BANG
Writers rushed season 5 imo.
I hated that Chalky was killed... But Dr. Narcisse, i had a hate boner for that bastard.
Back then they solved stuff with Guns, Knives and Explosions, now a days it's protests this, protests that.
Just rewatched Season 4 on Amazon Prime. Freakin' awesome! Wish it would've cont'd for 2 more seasons. There is nothing on @ all to look forward to now. Anything that was great goes away. :(
it would be great if they did a spin-off show somehow with meyer lucky and benny
Okay that first death was funny.
I fucking spoiled this for myself. Did 2 seasons and this montage. Element of surprise's all gone
Bao Nguyen
haha, why the hell would you watch a video entitled "...season 5 deaths" then? :P
I'd say the first three seasons are definitely worth watching but seasons four and five weren't really as good in my opinion.
saved me 127 hours. that was spoiled too.
BE does death scenes better than any other show.
Greatest hits so to speak.
The only ones who made it out alive are Eli Thompson and Margret. Margret will do well for herself and live to an old ripe age. Eli probably shaves, heads out west and starts a new life. Tommy is murdered in prison a few years later. Al, Charlie, and Mayer all die in prison.

dude was a coke addict too
The actor was/is a piece of shit and nearly impossible to work with.
they were gonna keep darmody in the show for longer and later kill him off but the actor who played the commodore was diagnosed with cancer and his screentime was reduced because of his condition and used darmody as the head of the rebellion to fill in the gaps of the actor's absence. Otherwise Darmody would have lived a bit longer
no way! season 3 was one of the best
Nucky really died at the age of 85
Miss watching this show

I just realized that was Tonino in that scene with Bugsy in the Masseria hit.
I don't know if being a high-profile gangster was anything like this in real life, but if it was it seems to me that you'd have to be a complete idiot to get into that line of "business". Simple statistics should have been enough to dissuade anyone from such a life.
they sure loved the cheek shootings
good headshooooooooooooooot
La mejor serie q pude haber visto, gracias Dios por vivir para verla
DoEs He DiE tHoO head shot only seriously fatal with bullt ricochet to the brain, most likely thing his sinus cavities all fucked up.
Best way to end the show. Jimmy and Ang deserved some underground justice for what happened to them!
Well, Angela got her justice when Richard killed Manny.
shit i just ruined it all for myself
Real Nucky was not shot..
6:15 lol
Haha he did the stripper move 😂 he was working that pole
"Alright, then."
They should totally make a sequel for Al Capone, or prequel of the Commodore
A sequel for Al Capone? Of him being in prison? Plus they did do a brief prequel of the commodore in the fifth series.
one of the stupidest endings to a show. Spent the whole last season ramping up luciano to be a psycho (thanks to the short last season) and trying to make us care about the woman who raped her son. So dumb.

JEWS OBVIOUSLY WROTE THIS.
5:10 ooh ah ah ah ah
And people blame guns for violence, it's feed to us like food , from who ?
It was a great series. But calm down, folks it's mainly fiction. The Darmodys never existed and the Nucky upon whom the series was based died in 1968 at the 85. ...After a considerable stint in prison.
Tommy kind of reminds me of jack from RDR and i dont know why
Seems like the bartenders always get killed
Why does the video quality of Boardwalk clips always look like hell?
Chalky White!
Nucky didn't get shot on his head
I reckon he's still alive
+farzad heidari he took a shot to the throat though if you look at his neck.....I think he's dead...just my opinion
He's dead lmao
Macellai.

and i just subscribed to you.
They rushed too much
Nucky Thompson actually died in the 60s
so basicly he servived
In rl nucky out lived most of them
Meyer Lansky outlived all (except one).
Boardwalk Backstabbing
Lmao 4:44in the video looks funny 😂
Something tells me Chalky didnt die
Yeah, his eyes were clothes so he/we couldn't see when those fellas got mowed down. Imagine him opening his eyes and HIS real crew standing there, and those other guys are on the ground. I mean he already lost his daughter..... So hurtful. Would be great to see him in some sort of continuation.
Anger management is definitely in order here.
Was that Gyp's right hand dude with Bugsy 5:18
yeah he switched to Masseria's side after killing Gyp and then he switched to Bugsy, Meyer and Lucky's side
This mоvie is now aаavailable too watcccch herе => twitter.com/7a5cd40307585bf4d/status/824453532916920321 Bоardwalk Empire Seasооn 5 Deaths
Season 4 then 5 wasn't good. The main deaths where too artsy. All that chalky vs Narcisse stuff went on too long. Van Alden & Eli outstayed their welcome.
Steve bucheme is op
Alright then.
Why is this show so dark (in lighting). I can't see shit.
Damn van alden was my fav. stopped watching after his death.
he was incredible
+jokyejoker then u fucked up big time.
jokyejoker I don't get why people stop watching shows after their favorite character dies like everyone is supposed to live happily ever after.
u kept watchin after jimmys death, richards death but van aldens u cant handle? jeeyzas...
so everone dies....
@1:30 Wilhelm.
The last few episodes of Boardwalk Empire bored me to the brink of buying a bottle of whiskey!
best seen ever 0:15
Nah, 6:07
finally an hbo series with a great ending
why did chalky have to die :(
Because he was a wuss
Nucky betrayed him.
what season was chulky locked up?
Season 2.
how come i neva seen that?
right after season 4 (in the final) he went to jail
he was locked up in season 2 temperately by eli after shooting a kkk in the neck for his own safety
Most of the deaths in this Season were so weak.
Who shot masseria?
Historically, It was Joe Adonis, Albert Anastasia, and Vito Genovese, who, after Luciano was arrested, would take over as boss and lead the Genovese Crime Family.
What a spoiler !
Why did you watched it then,
Falta la muerte d Knox.
MrByron0101 eso es en la temporada 4
They tried like hell to make this show good but it really wasn't I never liked Boardwalk Empire at all
Stupid film . Violence glorification everywhere. Don’t be mad at me , just my opinion.
Congrats!!
The last few episodes of Boardwalk Empire bored me to the brink of buying a bottle of whiskey!
