Hello there. I was using a Korg Triton Le76 before and the sequencer or whay more friendly user and easy to view all the tracks and edit. On i3 it’s a little painful to work with this kind of protocol. Nice video and helpful for those that are using i3. All the best from France.
Hi, thank you very much for the video. Congratulations. I have just one question: Is it possible to create your own auto-accompaniment styles + drum programming and save it to the i3's memory in the user bank? If possible, make a video teaching. Thank you very much in advance.
This overwrite/overdub feature of full songs inside the sequencer is an amazing feature. Are there any higher end keyboards that have this? This is so perfect for me but the sounds on this low end keyboard are not quite good enough.
Great video as always, thanks Jeremy! I hope one day they wiil add the possibility of editing the FX of a commercially available MIDI-file. So editing the amount of reverb f.i. on midichannel or track 1 or 2 or 10 etc. Some files I have are drowning in reverb, unbelievable.
Are there any envelopes, filters or oscillators, or other ways to bend and shape the sound curves on the i3? If not, could you recommend any similar instrument with a sequencer from the same or lower price range?
I have a korg pa 300.... can u show how to start arranging a song on such a keyboard.... I want to learn arranging a song....also can I use sequencer on pa 300 like u did on this korg
Hey Wayne! The i3 definitely has quite a few tricks up its sleeves. Current situation is slowing the supply chain. I am lucky to get the very first few units. Will be available in Canada in a few weeks' time.
Hello from Russia. Please answer, on the EK-50 synthesizer, the sequencer is recorded in the same way as in the i3 ? Are these two synthesizers the same in terms of song recording capabilities? Do you have a video about "Multi-Track Song Record with Overdub & Overwrite Features" for EK-50?
Wow.. love the songs at the end. This keyboard has stunning orchestral instrument sounds. However, for me, the interface isn't very intuitive and it's great that you took the time to show people how to use the record function. Seriously, for someone like me, I wish every keyboard you purchased had a video to go with it. Many of us are "see and learn" people.. not read and learn..
We are very lucky to have fast internet and RUclips to get visual materials! Thanks for stopping by Shelly. And I appreciate you watching to the end. 😉
Hey Jeremy, I just bought one of these Korg i3 keyboards. What PA style sets work with this? I see a lot of options for middle eastern styles based on PA300 or PA50 units. Not sure if there is a compatibility list somewhere I can look at. Any recommendations? Appreciate it
Nice video, thank for your tutorials. I have the Korg i3 and now it´s standing in the corner. My problem, it is a keyboard for a perfect piano-player without mistakes. Workstation ?? It is a simple track-recorder without editing options. When I play wrong, I must play new from the beginning. Perfect piano-players have joy, not me.
Thanks for you videos. I saw all. The problem by Korg i3 is, there is no "compare" or "undo/rendo". Every user must perfect play in the "record mode". Edition notes does not exist. Or can you tell me a trick about edition notes ? Thank You.
hello..i totally interested in your videos..as I watch throughout your videos i noticed that you did not mentioned about FLAVIAN keyboard..with due respect can i get your feedbacks regarding this keyboar specifically the S-5 one?
hi Jeremy, i bought a psr-e363 based on your recommendation because your channel inspired me to start learning how to play the piano. So thank u for that 🤩 anyway, i bought the keyboard without an adapter and just opted for batteries and it worked fine but didn’t even last 2 hours the keyboard stopped making sounds even though the screen was lit, so i bought the same type of batteries recommended in the user’s manual and it lasted a few weeks but the same problem returned, i press the keys and no sound comes out, so i contacted the store i bought it from and they told me that there was nothing wrong with it, it just needed an adapter. Is that true? Wouldn’t batteries last a little longer at least? I thought something was wrong with the keyboard itself but now idk. This is my first time ever owning a keyboard so idk what the heck i’m doing i have no knowledge so i wanted to ask you. Do I really just need an adapter?.. i mean why would the user’s manual say that batteries are an option if they won’t work
If you want the keyboard to last longer on batteries, use headphones, don't use speakers. It takes a lot of energy to produce sound through speakers. Every keyboard out there with speakers don't last more than 6 hours with 1 set of batteries.
Hi Jeremy, very instructive video, thanks. How would you rate the Korg i3 soundwise as compared with Yamaha PSR S670 and Casio CT-X3000/5000? The strings ensembles at the end of the video are really beautiful. Shame there’s no arpeggiator in this unit. Take care.
Thanks for stopping by Vinciane. The voices of the S670 & CT-X5000 and i3 are very competitive in terms of quality. Certain brands are better in certain category of voices. However, S670 still has lots of features and has ease of use. It is of course a lot more expensive. i3 is pretty straightforward to use too.
Really wanted to like the i3....but without arpeggio & quantize functions, this keyboard is a useless sh*t-box. I could spend $120 less on a Casio CT-X5000 and have quantize functionality...what the hell was Korg thinking when they made this turd? Even without auto-accompaniment,the Korg Kross 2 is a much better choice.
My problem so far is I’m doing it wrong. If I record a track, and overdub, and need pitch bend , it bends everything including what I’ve already recorded which I do not want. Not just what I’m currently playing. @jeremysee

Hey Jeremy i like your vids very informative, can you make a comparison about korg i3 and roland xps 10.which one is better overall performance?

Not all MIDI files are created equal. 😉 Thanks for stopping by buddy.

On method 1.... Cool! But not so easy play a song in one take! Who do you think we are? Arthur Rubinstein ?😅
Is this keyboard still available now?2024
Hello Jeremy. I’m looking for a new keyboard to play and also use it for in the DAW. Is this Korg a good choice? Or are there better ones out there?

Hi Jeremy, is there a roundabout way of recording music on the Korg PA600 as it does not have a 'record to a USB' button. Thanks in advance.
