Very cool! I am glad that you went and demonstrated all the possible ways of using the drum pad! Personally, I think something like this no matter from which company it is adds a lot to an accoustic set. Just having that option of having some whacky sounds on the side is always nice. For most, a tool for some fooling around and fun, but a few people will actually find a use for this even live!
Hi, man! Really cool Video. Is it possible for the expansion to buy a double e-hi hat or the module only reproduce on/off sound of the it and not in the middle?
Really appreciate the effort you put in covering almost all the possibilities of using this electronic drum pad. As usual, your playing is outstanding. Cheers! May I know about the build quality please?
Thank you very much! The pad looks really nicely designed and doesn’t feel „cheap“, I’ve just used it for the demos until now, so I unfortunately can’t say much about durability yet. Kind regards!
Thank u for this video, Is it easy to load samples on this? I'm not tech savvy at all ,I've been looking at this and the alesis pad I have an A to E TD-17, that is maxed out pad wise with using splitters, and I want to add some percussion sounds, I don't know how to use MIDI, and thought a pad like this may be the way to go. Also how is the sensitivity? Thanks again
@@bertopanadero3468 Thanks pal, that’s great to hear! All pads I have used are NUX pads also, they told me these should be available separately. I’ll try to find out from where those can be ordered! Kind regards
@@drummer5015 Hi, in Germany all Parts I had used for the video setup are available separately now. You should check if there’s a NUX distributor for your country, then there should be dealers offering the stuff too. Kind regards!
is it works if its expanded with a ride cymbal pad and if we hit it hard we can have a crash sound too? bcs someone say the module of dp 2000 is the same with nux dm7x. Ur answer will help me so much sir thank u😇
Hi, is it possible to upload samples that are not from drums? Let's say my band wants to play Radiohead's Karma Police, but we don't have a piano/keyboard player. Could I upload the piano intro to the DP2000 and trigger it when hitting one of the pads? Thanks in advance for any useful information on this. I am deciding about buying it.
@@aorock747 I haven’t tried this yet, but you can load your own samples to the dp2000, so if there’s no limit in sample length it should work. Also you can play wav music files from USB stick, you’ll find more info on www.nuxaudio.com/dp2000.html
I have this, big problem is crosstalk awful and i can hear you have same problem at 1:30, i promise this problem can solved by update firmware, but for this now i dont recommend this product 👎
How do you make the cymbal pad can be open close hihat function properly with hihat controller? I've tried it but the sound that comes out its only crash cymbal.. Please help Me 🙏 @digitaldrumming
You can re-assign a hihat sound to the extra pad & use a hihat controller for opening/closing, it’s a pretty simple operation but you have to repeat for every kit. Kind regards!

You can make something as fundamentally simple like this sound monsterous. :D

What are you using for the kick drum and high hat. Are they affordable pedals? Awesome playing sounds great
@@ME-xf2fs Thank you very much! I used the very affordable NUX hh controller/pad & kick pad, they are available separately. Kind regards!
Do roland Hi hat controllers and bass drums work with this?
is the hi-hat included in the package?
Your demo convinced me to purchase DP-2000. Where can i purchase the hi-hats? Thank You

Mine is kinda mis-fire one of the pad when playing 2 pads at the same time
I like your style at this tempo too. That's not the JoJo Mayer signature bass pedal is it? Or Pearl maybe?
Thank you very much! It is, I’m a Sonor „guy“/artist 😄✌️
