  • Valve specs: intake 0.04-0.08mm, exhaust 0.25-0.29mm. (Sorry: Numbers on the label are the ideal or mean average amounts, NOT maximum amounts)
4-stroke engine valve lash or gap checked using a feeler gauge. Same adjustment mechanism can be found on boat motors, snowmobiles, dirt bikes. Camshaft moves by turning the 17mm nut at the alternator flywheel.

rather than just guessing if the radius is the same for most of it, just turn the damn thing until the sprocket mark lines up with the head. Really not worth guessing when it's no extra effort to do it right.

on the cbf the rocker arms do not have feet like this cbr .instead they have small bearings to make contact with the cams .if you get a problem with oil feed on them they will blow apart scraping your cams.the adjustment screws also do not have a slot for a screw driver they are squared for a spanner somthing like 3mm .the whole assembly of the cbr head looks to be better including the cast.the entire head on the cbf will thread out easy .cbr looks built better

i believe that was a 2010 125 engine i rebuilt . but i think all model 125 cbf have the bearings on the rocker arms . the cbr head just looks better to me

How do you tell the difference between intake and exhaust valves on the r125
