The "cable stretcher" you found at 15.00 is a railway track tie bar. They were used as a temporary measure to stop the track from spreading when the sleepers were starting to deteriorating.
well the fist part was ok , quite a few people with the magnets , but i think paul chasing his bucket topped it off , who said there was no humour in magnet fishing it was great as usual 👍to all . terry
If that water is "PRIVATE!", then it must belong to the Canals and Rivers Trust and if it is, then they are not doing a very good job looking after it are they? Thank goodness for folks like you lot who actually give a damn about the environment and are prepared to go out and do something about cleaning it up. Any prizes you find in tbe meantime are your rewards for cleaning up. Plus of course, you have a laugh with the gang and we get entertained, whilst you do it. Cheers to you all.
thanks for your comment. it wasn't private and there was a man who owned the boat yard there who was pleased with what we were doing and said it is nothing to do with them people. a good job all round though.
I loved the coal can thingy and the sissors. Those were keepers I think. I was laughing at Paul's bad luck with his bucket in the water and getting his grappling hook stuck. Sorry Paul.
Nice day out even though the finds were not that special , Hampton Court was a wash out except for when Paul almost lost his Bucket , that was good for a laugh or two . Stuart in Canada ..
First, we have the vid of Terry falling over (which really wasn't funny, but we laughed anyway) then we have the Saga of Paul's Bucket ( which was hilariously funny)! They should consider taking their act on the road! Love to all!! God bless!♥
Hey Nigel, I’m curious to why you stopped numbering your videos? Personally I liked them like that, anyway I just started watching the video, I’ll chat at the end of it.
Hope to see you on the premiere

Hi Nigel and Aaron, and Paul and Terri
Why on earth do people moan about magnet fishing, do they not understand how much rubbish is being taken out of our canals and rivers. 🤦♀️
The red and blue gauges with valves is for refrigerant charging.

The long Hammer could be ( just the head) a medieval warhammer!!!!
You can send the zippo lighter back to zippo they will repair or replace it for free
Look like kitchen scissors with a bottle opener notch and a rounded serrated part for grabbing onto tight lids.
