Thanks man! I've been meaning to come back, but there are so many other great restaurants I found here, like the Excalibur in my latest video. If you haven't checked that place out yet, you need to!
Nice job capturing the flavor of Old Town Bucharest in your own style. We've never been there, we'd love to go. You kept us interested the whole video! Nice approach to your video!
Thank you. I'm currently addicted to a video game, so I haven't really left the house in a few days haha. I love the story telling in the Tales series and it was on discount for the Steam summer sale recently, so I had to pick it up. I have footage from Bram Castle I need to edit and put up here, so that should be out soon. Also, the veggie dish was literally just vegetables: MEGA VEGETARIAN - Cauliflower, mushrooms, carrots, golden royal potatoes, cabbage, olives, mixed vegetables, tomato, cucumber, pineapple, orange. That was taken directly from their menu.
I went to Cismigiu today, an Herastrau is on the list for this week! :) I probably should have rented a boat to paddle around in, but I required sustenance.
It's not Jon doing it. If enough people report it as spam, or spammy keywords are detected, it just gets hidden very quickly. It happens in every time, but people seem to be more receptive of blatant self-promotion, than trying to disguise a comment with a plug.
Some obvious influences of Parisian architecture. Those buildings with gray roofs at 2:10 and 2:15. Romanians were obsessed with French for a while. You ordered a version of this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarma_(food). I don't like it. The price would be on the upper end for my town, but it's very cheap for a fancy restaurant in the center of national capital. That's why Romania just overtook Croatia in GDP (PPP) per capita, low wages, but even lower prices. At least for food and monthly bills because tech stuff (appliances, TV's, phones, cars) usually cost around the same everywhere, or slightly cheaper in richer countries.
There are a lot of french speaking people here, which is helpful, because I know more french, than romani lol. However, MOST people here speak English. I am enjoying the low cost of living here, but I've been sick for a few days, so I haven't had the opportunity to go out and enjoy it much. Also, I completely agree on the electronics. That's one thing I've paid attention to as I've been traveling. Electronics are so expensive in Europe, period. Especially in Italy with the insane taxes. There is no price offset to even anything out anywhere. If you want a new camera, drone, tv, forget about it. I'm better off buying it in the states and having it sent to me.
Don't ever mistake Romani and Romanian, not even by accident, while in Romania. Romani is language of Roma people, also known as Gypsies. Romanians are very sensitive about mixing up Roma and Romanians.
I was your waiter at Caru cu bere. Nice video ! :)

I love the cinematography dude!!
Alex Kellison I appreciate that. I strive to improve with each and every video, even the ones I hate doing; aka the obligatory apartment reviews.
sec 0:09 and I already hit like for the trouble you went through to make the intro....masking and everything ..
very nice work dude ! love all the cinematic sequences 😀
ZeykaFX • Corentin D. thank you. I've been trying to constantly improve the quality. I won't settle for complacency.
On A Whim Explorer that's nice, keep doing that good stuff !
Very good video and I also apreciate that you emphasise both on video and content quality.
My friend made fun of me the other night, because I spend 45 minutes on one transition.
Welcome in Bucharest! You are amazing and your video is beautiful! Thank!

Now i`m on vacation in the city Ramnicul Valcea-Olanesti-sorry!!

Cool video man
For all: Caru cu bere means The cart with beer.
Well you managed to change my mind on self-advertisement, and got a new subscriber so good job! I think Jon deleted your comment on his video tho.
