Arikado is literally how the Japanese say the word Alucard written phonetically. Which is funny when we consider that Alucard is supposed to have changed his name to conceal his identity over the centuries and the best he came up with is write his own name in Japanese. Needless to say that when I first played Aria of Sorrow it wasn’t much of a reveal when he tells us his true identity. I realize that his identity was more concealed from the main character Soma then from us, the player, but still I always found that kinda funny. One would expect a centuries old vampire would be better at concealing his true identity. 😆
Order of Ecclesia was the best of the Igavania games. Huge fan favourite. I remember a lot of people crying back in the day because it was the first Igavania game to be as tough if not tougher than the classicvania games. As good as the Iga games are, none of them were hard until that point.
