I'm responding as it seems you're having a difficulty with importing an audio file format into Logic?? I assume you're on MacOS,, for which there is many utilities to convert your downloaded mp3 to something like .aif, .wav, etc. OR if using a RUclips video downloader app, set the format for downloaded audio to something like .ogg, .aif, etc.........(????)
I'm on Windows10 so I have no Logic knowledge but I'll bet Logic is able to import quite a few formats. I DO know direct mp3 import can be absent from certain DAWs, or they can be particular about mp3 settings such as bit depth, stereo vs mono, etc. Hope it helps.
