He wasn't resting but he was not training as hard for the androids as the main timeline just because he didn't know. He was training, just not as much as the main timeline.
I think Vegeta would be training you gotta remember Vegeta goal was to beat Goku and who knows if Vegeta was all the way good. He was on their side but he was on it for selfish reasons
Let's see, SSJ Goku (Heart Virus) > 19 (Kamehameha absorbed). Yup Goku would have killed him because he was still stronger than 19, of course the heart virus got worse and worse and he also couldn't handle the transformation any longer. But had he never caught the virus, both Dr. Gero and 19 would be dead. Goku was stronger than Piccolo and he easily beat Dr. Gero, 19 is weaker than Dr. Gero.
I know this comment is years ago, but I just wanted to say piccolo was implying goku was stronger than android 17 when he fought him. He also says after cell absorbs 17, that no one can defeat him now, not even goku. Kind of implying that fused piccolo was weaker than full powered goku no heart virus.
I'm finding it really hard to believe the entire premise about the Z-Fighters not training as hard over the three years. Gohan wouldn't really have done anything because there's no threat to find an excuse to skip homeschool for, but Tien, Piccolo, Goku, and Vegeta all have the appropriate personalities to be training as hard as they can regardless of the presence of future threats. I mean, it's not like Goku knew the Buu saga was coming when he awakened Ssj3!
Ok I made a response to this but now that I'm re-reading it I see you are talking about if Goku didn't catch the virus. But honestly I do not believe...wait a minute the hyperbolic time chamber is a years worth of training. The androids would show up 3yrs from then. Let's see....if they got lucky like in the cell games Ssj2 Gohan of fused Kami and piccolo would of got the job done but...piccolo did die in future trunks timeline i see no difference in present timeline actually. The battle with cell caused piccolo to have the desire to fuse with Kami again...wait no I might be wrong there....I think his ass whooping he got from 17 made him fuse because cell retreated from piccolo...I think that's what happened.
Charles White Piccolo fused with Kami before fighting Cell. Anyway, my complaint has nothing to do with Goku's heart virus, it's just that it's implied that everybody was significantly stronger in this timeline than they were in Trunks's timeline, which shouldn't be the case because many of the characters will train just as hard whether or not there's an impending threat.
Maybe Tien and piccolo but remember in the bardock movie when vegeta lost interest in training for awhile because Goku was no longer alive I doubt that would have changed. He would of resumed it at some point but he would of had down time for sure.
Chi Chi would straight up forbid Gohan from training so he wouldn't train as much as the others especially Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Tien would do training non stop also heavily considering Goku and Vegeta still had a rivalry going at that point
I totally agree, they all love fighting and getting stronger and vegeta was still pretty damn bad so he would of been training as hard so he could beat goku. And goku the same just to have a good fight.
People always say how bad of a father Goku was. He pushed himself and everyone around him to be the best they can be and save the Earth multiple times. You do that, and try to see how much time you have for a wife and kids.

The important thing to remember is that in the future, the androids never fought more than one Super Saiyan at a time. One on one, it's possible Gohan could have stood a chance. If Goku had never caught the virus, he would have been able to fight the androids with Vegeta, who are not only a very effective pair, but are also frankly better, in terms of tactics, training, and battle intelligence. Even if they lost the first battle, Goku and Vegeta would still put up a close fight, and then come back to dominate the second battle. Also, the time lost training because they'd have no warning from the future is almost negligible. Goku and Vegeta would spend all their time training, anyway.
HardcoreHector Android 17 stated he used half of his power against Future Gohan in the Manga. He _could_ have been bluffing, but it shows you how much stronger the future androids are than the future Z-Fighters. In the main timeline, a stronger Vegeta fights a stronger version of 18. So I'd assume that the outcome would be the same with a weaker Vegeta and a weaker 18. Though the differences in power could have been different, I don't think the outcome would change considering 18 was holding back against Vegeta in the main timeline.

That won't be possible, Bulma brought up the idea when Piccolo explained how strong the Androids are, Vegeta, after hearing the idea, angrily disagree and threatened Bulma, Goku also disagree, as he wanted to fight them ( saiyans always seek battle ). And if you want to say what if, IF someone ( whoever he/she is ) still wished for it and killed Dr. Gero, that certain someone probably got killed by Vegeta. Anyway, the problem will start much later at Buu saga, if the timeline still progress what it should be, Gohan, who is the main fighter in the first part if the saga, will be MUCH weaker than he should be, and, he probably studied in the gap that Android saga left, and the gap after the Cell's game. So, Vegeta also become MUCH weaker because he doesn't have determination to surpass Gohan in his SSJ2, Gohan wouldn't have gained the transformation AND his power will be probably equal or weaker than he was at Namek ( considering Chi-Chi, who wants Gohan to study, doesn't let him train at ALL ) This would have impacted in Z-Fighter overall power level, Gohan will be useless, Vegeta will be strong but MUCH weaker than in the main timeline, Goku will be around Vegeta or so, Piccolo won't merged with Kami ( or he will do it much later on ). The main fighter will be easily got killed by Buu, without even a single sweat. even in the main timeline when they trained like they supposed, they easily overwhelmed by Buu's power (All Buus).
Alviando h let's face the truth, Buu were made this strong only to make Z-fighters struggle against him by author himself, otherwise he would not be relevant as villian at all, since even Cell level Dabura were piece of cake for Goku and Vegeta, Toriyama would just make Buu somewhat stronger than current Z fighters just to force them struggle against him, that's all. I don't like android arc since it had too much not logical decisions, like everyone around become completely retarded, they possessed a lot of information and never used it, a loads of opportunities were missed, characters just never acted like you expect them to act, oh well.

If Goku survived the heart virus, he would likely have been beaten by the androids but I agree that he could have used his instant transmission to escape recover and form a plan like entering the hyperbolic time chamber which would have given him enough power along with the boost he got when he was defeated to overpower the androids. But since he did die, I am curious as to why he didn't try to contact future Gohan with King Kai's help and tell him about the time chamber to help him and Trunks train.
Wrong, if Goku hadn't caught the heart virus he would have defeated android fat and the doctor right there. This would have prevented the androids from waking up. The real enemy would have been Vegeta with his new super sayan powers, and maybe cell if he could find the lab where the androids where sleeping, which I doubt it. Vegeta would of course be defeated by Goku and years would pass until the cell from the lab grew, got out and absorbed the androids. But by that time it would be useless because the Majin Buu threat would have been a bigger problem. Maybe Perfect Cell would have joined the Z warriors? Who knows~

What If Vegeta and Goku were to fight in the first round during the World Martial Arts Tournament. What If Goku and Piccolo manage to take out Raditz without the Special Beam Cannon but sparred his life. Eventually Raditz becoming an ally. What If Goku never died during the cell games. How much stronger would Gohan be within the 7 years before Buu. Also, how strong would Goku be since he never went to train in Other World.

Another spectacular video Q-man. I have an interesting topic to think about : Who do u think is most to blame for Goku death in the Cell games? You can make a strong case for many of the Z warriors. There's Gohan, who didn't finish off Cell quickly when he had the chance. There's Vegeta who allowed Cell to reach his perfect form. There's Krillin who had the remote to shut down android 18 but didn't because of love. There's Piccolo who first met Cell and got distracted by the incoming Z warriors, letting Cell escape and then fought 17 and allowed Cell to find their energy source. There's Trunks who, even though he was killed, gave Cell a means of returning to the past. There's Bulma who invented the time machine that started all of this. Or finally, is it Goku's fault, like he said at the end, he didn't kill Dr.Gero (even though he wasn't showed in dragonball) and in general is a threat to the planet because of the attention he draws.

Good video Qaaman. Only issue I have with this is that most of the events that happened past the Android saga can't possibly happen. If Goku is there in the main timeline between the fight with 18 and Vegeta he would've been killed instantly because of 16 being there. Keep in mind he wasn't an android but a full on robot with the only mindset to fight with Goku. Since he was stronger than a powered up first form cell but weaker than a second form cell he still would've been strong enough to kill goku right there

In the timeline where Goku died after the fight with Cell, Goku was only back for 1 day, so Vegeta only had a limited time to fight him and prove himself, so Vegeta let himself fall to Babidi so he could be strong enough to challenge him, but if Goku had been alive the whole time, Vegeta could literally fight Goku at any time, not to mention that both he and Goku would be stronger because of the fighting However, while Vegeta wouldn't let himself fall to Babidi in this scenario, he could still fall to him by force, since Babidi's magic is stronger the more evil someone has in their heart, and Vegeta would be much more agressive and less good then the main timeline Vegeta would most likely keep his pride and still be able to refuse Babidi, but Vegeta would still have chose to fight Goku over Surpreme Kai because, even fighting him every other week and being stronger, would still see Goku as a challenge A more intense fight between Majin Vegeta and Goku would release more energy, and release Buu mush quicker A lack of Hercule being the "champion of Earth" would result in Buu never being reformed, and thus never releasing Evil Buu from himself and possibly never resulting in the creation of either Super Buu or Kid Buu
I think Vegeta and Goku at SSJ2 would be more than enough to defeat Fat Buu. Especially if Gohan had SSJ2 as well. All 3 of them combining their energy to destroy Fat Buu would be overkill.

godwavenexus I disagree with you. Majin Buu wasn't that powerful. It was his overpowered Regeneration that allowed him to survive majority of the attacks thrown at him. Majin Vegeta and Goku with Gohan would utterly destroy Fat Buu with ease if they all combined their energy together. Also, If SSJ3 had more energy than a SSJ2 (like you're implying) then why did Vegeta surpass Goku's SSJ3 with only using his SSJ2 during the film Battle Of The Gods? With that being said I do believe that a rage boost from 3 SSJ2's (especially Gohans) would be overkill to Buu. Also, If Goku knew the fusion technique, then yeah I would see Gogeta one shotting Buu but since that was only learned when Goku was in otherworld, I don't see it being used in this scenario. Gohan on the other hand would not have been as weak as he was after the Cell games if Goku never died. Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan would all be really strong SSJ2's. Perhaps Goku would be a stronger SSJ2 since he would have Gohan to train with rather than Weak ass Pikkon.

Robert Belcher I've heard some say it was because of Future Trunks appearing that Gero decided to build more Androids to deal with more Saiyans, as well as making the existing Androids stronger. It was also explained that the future Androids are more evil because Gero was not distracted from them by building other Androids, and thus he was able to spend all his time experimenting on and torturing them, which caused them to hate the human race.

Here's my thoughts on that. Trunks said that the androids in his time line were sadistic killing machines, but in the original timeline the only person they ever killed was dr gero( unless you count the hell 17 arc). Dr gero himself said he didn't want to wake them up because they weren't finished yet so I think that in the original timeline the androids still had their own memories and personality. However, In future Trunks timeline Dr gero did finish his work on them warping there personalities at the cost of some of there power.

If Goku never caught the heart virus in the original timeline he would have likely faced off against 17 and 18 and died. The heart virus in effect saved Goku's life in this timeline and saved the future timeline as well since Trunks came back much more powerful than he was before.

Trevor Williams Since Trunks' androids are weaker than the present time ones, the resulting perfect cell would have to be weaker as well. This means that, as long as Trunks still makes it to the past, nothing would change. Between training in the hyperbolic time chamber and the zenaki boost he got from dying during the cell games, he should have been able to kill a weaker perfect cell on his own.
It says so in Majin Buu Saga he trained to be Super Saiyan 3 but probably had to reach 2 to get to 3 and also a good question is what part in DBZ did gotenks go super saiyan 2 if Goku demonstrate how to be a super saiyan 3 from 1st 2nd and 3rd stages. maybe Gotenks when angered up finding ways to beat Buu and just happened to be in an unknown stage of Super Saiyan 2

Goku and the Z fighters only trained as much as they did during the android saga because of Trunks' warning. In the instance that Goku doesn't die from the heart virus, he would of likely been weaker than Androids 17 and 18 and been killed anyway.

The only reason Goku was having problems with Android 20( think the Fat one was.) was simply due to the fact that his heart virus was kicking into overdrive while his battle was commencing as stated by Tien when they landed in the outskirts when he pointed out that Goku already looked tired just from their flight, when in reality he should never have even been fatigued in the slightest. Now, we go onto your mentioning of the Super Saiyan 3 state being found way later than it already had been, 1.) it would never have been achieved or 2.) It would have been achieved but it would have been drastically different of a form. Goku only did the form because he was dead, and Ki didn't matter, nor did he have any idea how straining the form was, which was, again shown when he said he guesses it takes way too much for a living body to handle, whereas being dead, where time doesn't matter or Ki for that matter, Super Saiyan 3 is perfect. So without that part of he would never have utilized his ki to make a stronger form like that and would have led a different path to a different form, or he would have just kept with Super Saiyan 3. I am not so sure the Vegeta in the Future would have achieved Super Saiyan at all, I think he never did. I mean, he wanted to so badly, but at the same time he didn't train hard for 3 years for the upcoming calamity that was the Androids, and therefore may have never reached his limits and got angry at himself. Heck, he may have quit fighting altogether due to the death of Goku, but thanks to the Androids attacking he had fought, and then died. The Events in the future wouldn't have happened. Buu wouldn't have emerged ever, nor would Babidi ever have gone to Earth. We can speculate that thanks to Trunks and Cell returning back in Time that it staggered the flow of time so drastically that Buu had finally gotten the chance to be released, whereas in the Future, both respectively, Buu was never released upon the Universe. So if Trunks and Cell were to never have gone back in time, then the Androids would have been the end all be all of the series, and Goku would have never died, Goten would have been born still, I believe, but us as viewers would never know because the story would have ended then and there or possibly a new enemy would have been created, or Buu would still have been invented just not as ridiculously powerful as he was in the mainstory line.

Goku will put up a way better fight then Future Gohan did but will likely still die or maybe his allies can distract the androids and take him away to be healed (Or Goku instant transmissions away lol). Goku would be stronger then post-Yardrat but a lot weaker then his Android Saga counterpart. Because Goku was training hard to prepare for Androids, in Future timeline if he lived, he wouldn't know anything about them and have no reason to put the extra effort into it. Another disadvantage would be if Vegeta is alive at this point because he will still be trying to kill Goku Pre-Androids and will likely attempt to the moment he has Super Saiyan but lets say he doesn't before the androids show up. If Piccolo fused with Kami I still say he would get his ass kicked hard just not one shotted. Piccolo was training with a Super Saiyan in main timeline and was as strong as one. Piccolo in future timeline would not and will likely barely be around Base Saiyans pre-Kami. Fusing with Kami would at best, put him at Super Saiyan Goku on Namek level. If Goku and others go in Time Chamber, well its going to be easy pickings for them no matter the partner. Gohan/Goku, Gohan/Piccolo, Goku/Piccolo lol. I cant imagine Vegeta being around at this point or if he lived, he rather train by himself. So the androids are killed, what happens next? If Vegeta survives against the androids, he will later try to kill Goku and Goku will likely kill him. Gohan will be same except a HELL of a lot weaker in Buu Saga, likely wont even be a Super Saiyan if Goku and Piccolo train together in Time Chamber. Trunks will have no father figure except maybe looking at Goku as one since I can still picture Trunks and Goten visiting each other. Goku will likely never become a Ssj2. Goten and Trunks could become Super Saiyans if Goku trains them. Imperfect Cell will be born after Buu Saga and at that point, he will likely get his ass kicked if he fights any of Super Saiyans or Piccolo. As for Buu Saga era.. Well lets say they are completely screwed unless Supreme Kai takes them to his homeworld to train and become Mystic though Old Kai (Doubt it since I don't think any of them will be able to pull Z-Sword out unless some training to prepare them). At this point in series, Goku would likely be AT BEST 50% of his Cell Games counterpart. Still enough to beat Yakon and Pui Pui no problem but Dabura is going to make them cry hard lol.

I think you forgot one major factor buddy. Consider this, during the time period after the Androids defeat, if Goku was alive it would almost be certain that during this 'down time' Vegeta and Goku would consistently spar with each other. One of the reasons why Vegeta was able to be turned into Majin Vegeta is because he was anxious and impatient waiting years to fight Goku again. And before he could have his match the trouble with Buu started and Gohan not killing Dabura right away angered him more because his match with Goku is on a time limit and fighting Babidi forces was wasting his time. Hence, if Goku never died not only would he be able to spar with Goku but it's possible he would have opened up sooner to being kinder. Here's why, while it's true that Future Trunks love and actions softened him up remember that Goku would be around more to train both Gohan and Goten. Just being around kind hearted Goku and how he trains with his sons to make them Super Sayains would start to affect Vegeta. You even mentioned Vegeta's sense of competition. There is no way he would let Kakarot's sons be stronger than his especially since Goku would make sure they were both SSJ if not SSJ 2. This would then force Vegeta, due to his competitiveness, to focus more on kid Trunks and his development. Thus he would have a closer relationship with kid trunks than what we observed with Z. Lastly, like you said if the Buu saga started around the time as the maintineline Vegeta wouldn't have gotten so angry during Gohan's match because 1.) He wouldn't have been so eager and impatient since Gokus not going anywhere, 2.) His last spar with Goku probably would have been a month if not two months prior, and 3.) His power level would have been much closer to Kakarots so there would never have been this big mystery about how much stronger has Kakarot become because Vegeta would already know.

Jobu Matthew Who's getting angry? Unlocking potential means that the person has untapped abilities. In other words, larger gains from the same amount of training. If Goku had more power to be untapped he would be getting larger gains and have more potential elsewhere not that he can't gain a higher PL. For a long while Krillin was weaker overall than Tien. Since he had his power unlocked he became the strongest human until Uub came along.

Bardock did survive the destruction of Planet Vegeta. He was thrown back to the distant past, however, and became the first legendary Super Saiyan in the process (arguably the same one that Vegeta told Goku about).
GT would be utterly (even more so) pointless then at that point lol. If the Black Star balls were never used, and Omega Shenron was never created, then it would have no impact at all. But that kind of leaves out the new continuity from Battle of the Gods, doesn't it?
16 was far stronger than Goku, the only time that he wasn't Goku was far stronger than 16, and unlike Cell 16s self destruct isn't planet wide Goku can dodge with teleportation he won't give 16 any reason to self destruct
Cell would gain nothing from absorbing the Z fighters. Cell already has their cells. Cell states that there is no point to absorbing Piccolo, because his cells are already a part of him. He instead kills Piccolo and throws him into the ocean. (Cell absorbing goku in GT makes no sense and isn't canon, and Cell absorbing Krillin in the video game makes no sense and is also not canon.)

you know what is weird, it is shown countless times that when goku died he was able to speak to everyone from the otherworld thanks ot king kai, and odds are greatly in favor of him keeping his body and training with the rest of the fighter with the grand kai......SO why?.....didn't he speak to gohan about androids and come up with a way for him train and become stronger, and he could know due to the fact the other Z-fighters would most likely keep their body and join him and would tell him what was happening...

With all those changes, I don't think Majin Vegeta would be more aggressive because Bulma and Trunks would be around and also because If Goku didn't die on Android Saga, we probably would see some sort of sparring between him and Vegeta. Also, we don't know if all those changes would make Super Buu appear. I think we would be stuck with Fat Buu, which would end up make things easier for the Z fighters.

ok first of all, the only reason 17 and 18 come into the story is because of doctor jero (the RR scientist). Goku would hear about the two androids attacking the city and report to the problem and easily take out doctor jero, so he cant awaken 17 and 18 so they dont come into the story at all.
In the buu saga part I feel it won't happen simply due to the fact vegeta can spar with goku all day all he wants meaning him getting the majin power up won't happen simply because he wont want to have it.
I'd like to add a thought to your statement that Goku and Trunks were about the same power level when goku returned to earth. Even if that is the case, I believe Goku still would have stood a better chance against the androids given the fact that he's older and has more martial arts experience than Trunks.
Perry D Instant transmission is also a very useful technique, could catch the Androids off guard. Yes, he can't sense the Android's energy, but he could use the Z-Fighter's energy to escape.
one thing you should know : present vegeta was not "considerably" weaker than 18, he was actually holding his own...the reason he lost was because of stamina, as he was getting tired while cyborg 18 didn't.
Come to think about it. Both SSJ Vegeta and Goku completely dominated android 19. But there is 1 major difference! Vegeta got his energy drained and thats why he didnt attack android 20 right away so he could escape when Bulma showed up with her baby Trunks & Yajirobe. Goku however never even took damage from 19, so if Goku didnt catch the virus he wouldnt have lost a big amount of energy like Vegeta. Meaning he would be ready to take on android 20 right away. So its very possible dr. Gero wouldnt even make it back to his lab to begin with, thus ending the android saga right there.
Think about this though. Trunks gave them a warning that the androids were coming so they trained specifically for them, and that may be why they put up a better fight.

Let's see, SSJ Goku (Heart Virus) > 19 (Kamehameha absorbed). Yup Goku would have killed him because he was still stronger than 19, of course the heart virus got worse and worse and he also couldn't handle the transformation any longer. But had he never caught the virus, both Dr. Gero and 19 would be dead. Goku was stronger than Piccolo and he easily beat Dr. Gero, 19 is weaker than Dr. Gero.

I'm finding it really hard to believe the entire premise about the Z-Fighters not training as hard over the three years. Gohan wouldn't really have done anything because there's no threat to find an excuse to skip homeschool for, but Tien, Piccolo, Goku, and Vegeta all have the appropriate personalities to be training as hard as they can regardless of the presence of future threats. I mean, it's not like Goku knew the Buu saga was coming when he awakened Ssj3!

Anyway, my complaint has nothing to do with Goku's heart virus, it's just that it's implied that everybody was significantly stronger in this timeline than they were in Trunks's timeline, which shouldn't be the case because many of the characters will train just as hard whether or not there's an impending threat.

The important thing to remember is that in the future, the androids never fought more than one Super Saiyan at a time. One on one, it's possible Gohan could have stood a chance. If Goku had never caught the virus, he would have been able to fight the androids with Vegeta, who are not only a very effective pair, but are also frankly better, in terms of tactics, training, and battle intelligence. Even if they lost the first battle, Goku and Vegeta would still put up a close fight, and then come back to dominate the second battle. Also, the time lost training because they'd have no warning from the future is almost negligible. Goku and Vegeta would spend all their time training, anyway.

In the main timeline, a stronger Vegeta fights a stronger version of 18. So I'd assume that the outcome would be the same with a weaker Vegeta and a weaker 18. Though the differences in power could have been different, I don't think the outcome would change considering 18 was holding back against Vegeta in the main timeline.

And if you want to say what if, IF someone ( whoever he/she is ) still wished for it and killed Dr. Gero, that certain someone probably got killed by Vegeta. Anyway, the problem will start much later at Buu saga, if the timeline still progress what it should be, Gohan, who is the main fighter in the first part if the saga, will be MUCH weaker than he should be, and, he probably studied in the gap that Android saga left, and the gap after the Cell's game.
So, Vegeta also become MUCH weaker because he doesn't have determination to surpass Gohan in his SSJ2, Gohan wouldn't have gained the transformation AND his power will be probably equal or weaker than he was at Namek ( considering Chi-Chi, who wants Gohan to study, doesn't let him train at ALL )
This would have impacted in Z-Fighter overall power level, Gohan will be useless, Vegeta will be strong but MUCH weaker than in the main timeline, Goku will be around Vegeta or so, Piccolo won't merged with Kami ( or he will do it much later on ). The main fighter will be easily got killed by Buu, without even a single sweat. even in the main timeline when they trained like they supposed, they easily overwhelmed by Buu's power (All Buus).

let's face the truth, Buu were made this strong only to make Z-fighters struggle against him by author himself, otherwise he would not be relevant as villian at all, since even Cell level Dabura were piece of cake for Goku and Vegeta, Toriyama would just make Buu somewhat stronger than current Z fighters just to force them struggle against him, that's all. If Goku survived the heart virus, he would likely have been beaten by the androids but I agree that he could have used his instant transmission to escape recover and form a plan like entering the hyperbolic time chamber which would have given him enough power along with the boost he got when he was defeated to overpower the androids. But since he did die, I am curious as to why he didn't try to contact future Gohan with King Kai's help and tell him about the time chamber to help him and Trunks train.

This would have prevented the androids from waking up.
The real enemy would have been Vegeta with his new super sayan powers, and maybe cell if he could find the lab where the androids where sleeping, which I doubt it.

Another spectacular video Q-man. I have an interesting topic to think about : Who do u think is most to blame for Goku death in the Cell games? You can make a strong case for many of the Z warriors. There's Gohan, who didn't finish off Cell quickly when he had the chance. There's Vegeta who allowed Cell to reach his perfect form. There's Krillin who had the remote to shut down android 18 but didn't because of love. There's Piccolo who first met Cell and got distracted by the incoming Z warriors, letting Cell escape and then fought 17 and allowed Cell to find their energy source. There's Trunks who, even though he was killed, gave Cell a means of returning to the past. There's Bulma who invented the time machine that started all of this. Or finally, is it Goku's fault, like he said at the end, he didn't kill Dr.Gero (even though he wasn't showed in dragonball) and in general is a threat to the planet because of the attention he draws.

Good video Qaaman. Only issue I have with this is that most of the events that happened past the Android saga can't possibly happen. If Goku is there in the main timeline between the fight with 18 and Vegeta he would've been killed instantly because of 16 being there. Keep in mind he wasn't an android but a full on robot with the only mindset to fight with Goku. Since he was stronger than a powered up first form cell but weaker than a second form cell he still would've been strong enough to kill goku right there

In the timeline where Goku died after the fight with Cell, Goku was only back for 1 day, so Vegeta only had a limited time to fight him and prove himself, so Vegeta let himself fall to Babidi so he could be strong enough to challenge him, but if Goku had been alive the whole time, Vegeta could literally fight Goku at any time, not to mention that both he and Goku would be stronger because of the fighting
However, while Vegeta wouldn't let himself fall to Babidi in this scenario, he could still fall to him by force, since Babidi's magic is stronger the more evil someone has in their heart, and Vegeta would be much more agressive and less good then the main timeline
Vegeta would most likely keep his pride and still be able to refuse Babidi, but Vegeta would still have chose to fight Goku over Surpreme Kai because, even fighting him every other week and being stronger, would still see Goku as a challenge
A more intense fight between Majin Vegeta and Goku would release more energy, and release Buu mush quicker
A lack of Hercule being the "champion of Earth" would result in Buu never being reformed, and thus never releasing Evil Buu from himself and possibly never resulting in the creation of either Super Buu or Kid Buu
I think Vegeta and Goku at SSJ2 would be more than enough to defeat Fat Buu. Especially if Gohan had SSJ2 as well. All 3 of them combining their energy to destroy Fat Buu would be overkill.

godwavenexus I disagree with you. Majin Buu wasn't that powerful. It was his overpowered Regeneration that allowed him to survive majority of the attacks thrown at him. Majin Vegeta and Goku with Gohan would utterly destroy Fat Buu with ease if they all combined their energy together.
Also, If SSJ3 had more energy than a SSJ2 (like you're implying) then why did Vegeta surpass Goku's SSJ3 with only using his SSJ2 during the film Battle Of The Gods? With that being said I do believe that a rage boost from 3 SSJ2's (especially Gohans) would be overkill to Buu.
Also, If Goku knew the fusion technique, then yeah I would see Gogeta one shotting Buu but since that was only learned when Goku was in otherworld, I don't see it being used in this scenario. Gohan on the other hand would not have been as weak as he was after the Cell games if Goku never died. Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan would all be really strong SSJ2's. I've heard some say it was because of Future Trunks appearing that Gero decided to build more Androids to deal with more Saiyans, as well as making the existing Androids stronger.
It was also explained that the future Androids are more evil because Gero was not distracted from them by building other Androids, and thus he was able to spend all his time experimenting on and torturing them, which caused them to hate the human race.

Here's my thoughts on that. Trunks said that the androids in his time line were sadistic killing machines, but in the original timeline the only person they ever killed was dr gero( unless you count the hell 17 arc). Dr gero himself said he didn't want to wake them up because they weren't finished yet so I think that in the original timeline the androids still had their own memories and personality. However, In future Trunks timeline Dr gero did finish his work on them warping there personalities at the cost of some of there power.

If Goku never caught the heart virus in the original timeline he would have likely faced off against 17 and 18 and died. The heart virus in effect saved Goku's life in this timeline and saved the future timeline as well since Trunks came back much more powerful than he was before.

This means that, as long as Trunks still makes it to the past, nothing would change. Between training in the hyperbolic time chamber and the zenaki boost he got from dying during the cell games, he should have been able to kill a weaker perfect cell on his own.

illO .nenirakkoK It makes perfect sense. In both scenarios Goku and the Z fighters die and Trunks goes back in time because of the havoc the androids are reaping. Goku and the Z fighters only trained as much as they did during the android saga because of Trunks' warning. In the instance that Goku doesn't die from the heart virus, he would of likely been weaker than Androids 17 and 18 and been killed anyway.

What if Planet Vegeta still there
The only reason Goku was having problems with Android 20( think the Fat one was.) was simply due to the fact that his heart virus was kicking into overdrive while his battle was commencing as stated by Tien when they landed in the outskirts when he pointed out that Goku already looked tired just from their flight, when in reality he should never have even been fatigued in the slightest.
Now, we go onto your mentioning of the Super Saiyan 3 state being found way later than it already had been, 1.) it would never have been achieved or 2.) It would have been achieved but it would have been drastically different of a form.
Goku only did the form because he was dead, and Ki didn't matter, nor did he have any idea how straining the form was, which was, again shown when he said he guesses it takes way too much for a living body to handle, whereas being dead, where time doesn't matter or Ki for that matter, Super Saiyan 3 is perfect.
So without that part of he would never have utilized his ki to make a stronger form like that and would have led a different path to a different form, or he would have just kept with Super Saiyan 3.
I am not so sure the Vegeta in the Future would have achieved Super Saiyan at all, I think he never did. I mean, he wanted to so badly, but at the same time he didn't train hard for 3 years for the upcoming calamity that was the Androids, and therefore may have never reached his limits and got angry at himself. Heck, he may have quit fighting altogether due to the death of Goku, but thanks to the Androids attacking he had fought, and then died.
The Events in the future wouldn't have happened. Buu wouldn't have emerged ever, nor would Babidi ever have gone to Earth. We can speculate that thanks to Trunks and Cell returning back in Time that it staggered the flow of time so drastically that Buu had finally gotten the chance to be released, whereas in the Future, both respectively, Buu was never released upon the Universe. So if Trunks and Cell were to never have gone back in time, then the Androids would have been the end all be all of the series, and Goku would have never died, Goten would have been born still, I believe, but us as viewers would never know because the story would have ended then and there or possibly a new enemy would have been created, or Buu would still have been invented just not as ridiculously powerful as he was in the mainstory line.

Goku will put up a way better fight then Future Gohan did but will likely still die or maybe his allies can distract the androids and take him away to be healed (Or Goku instant transmissions away lol). Goku would be stronger then post-Yardrat but a lot weaker then his Android Saga counterpart. Because Goku was training hard to prepare for Androids, in Future timeline if he lived, he wouldn't know anything about them and have no reason to put the extra effort into it. Another disadvantage would be if Vegeta is alive at this point because he will still be trying to kill Goku Pre-Androids and will likely attempt to the moment he has Super Saiyan but lets say he doesn't before the androids show up. If Piccolo fused with Kami I still say he would get his ass kicked hard just not one shotted. Piccolo was training with a Super Saiyan in main timeline and was as strong as one. Piccolo in future timeline would not and will likely barely be around Base Saiyans pre-Kami. Fusing with Kami would at best, put him at Super Saiyan Goku on Namek level. If Goku and others go in Time Chamber, well its going to be easy pickings for them no matter the partner. Gohan/Goku, Gohan/Piccolo, Goku/Piccolo lol. I cant imagine Vegeta being around at this point or if he lived, he rather train by himself. So the androids are killed, what happens next? If Vegeta survives against the androids, he will later try to kill Goku and Goku will likely kill him. Gohan will be same except a HELL of a lot weaker in Buu Saga, likely wont even be a Super Saiyan if Goku and Piccolo train together in Time Chamber. Trunks will have no father figure except maybe looking at Goku as one since I can still picture Trunks and Goten visiting each other. Goku will likely never become a Ssj2. Goten and Trunks could become Super Saiyans if Goku trains them. Imperfect Cell will be born after Buu Saga and at that point, he will likely get his ass kicked if he fights any of Super Saiyans or Piccolo. As for Buu Saga era.. Well lets say they are completely screwed unless Supreme Kai takes them to his homeworld to train and become Mystic though Old Kai (Doubt it since I don't think any of them will be able to pull Z-Sword out unless some training to prepare them). At this point in series, Goku would likely be AT BEST 50% of his Cell Games counterpart. Still enough to beat Yakon and Pui Pui no problem but Dabura is going to make them cry hard lol.

The thing I always wondered in Future Trunks timeline is why the Z fighters didn't use dragon balls to revive people. Or send someone to New Namek to see if they could use those.
I think you forgot one major factor buddy. Consider this, during the time period after the Androids defeat, if Goku was alive it would almost be certain that during this 'down time' Vegeta and Goku would consistently spar with each other. One of the reasons why Vegeta was able to be turned into Majin Vegeta is because he was anxious and impatient waiting years to fight Goku again. And before he could have his match the trouble with Buu started and Gohan not killing Dabura right away angered him more because his match with Goku is on a time limit and fighting Babidi forces was wasting his time. Hence, if Goku never died not only would he be able to spar with Goku but it's possible he would have opened up sooner to being kinder. Here's why, while it's true that Future Trunks love and actions softened him up remember that Goku would be around more to train both Gohan and Goten. Just being around kind hearted Goku and how he trains with his sons to make them Super Sayains would start to affect Vegeta. You even mentioned Vegeta's sense of competition. There is no way he would let Kakarot's sons be stronger than his especially since Goku would make sure they were both SSJ if not SSJ 2. This would then force Vegeta, due to his competitiveness, to focus more on kid Trunks and his development. Thus he would have a closer relationship with kid trunks than what we observed with Z. Lastly, like you said if the Buu saga started around the time as the maintineline Vegeta wouldn't have gotten so angry during Gohan's match because 1.) He wouldn't have been so eager and impatient since Gokus not going anywhere, 2.) His last spar with Goku probably would have been a month if not two months prior, and 3.) His power level would have been much closer to Kakarots so there would never have been this big mystery about how much stronger has Kakarot become because Vegeta would already know.

Jobu Matthew Who's getting angry? Unlocking potential means that the person has untapped abilities. In other words, larger gains from the same amount of training. If Goku had more power to be untapped he would be getting larger gains and have more potential elsewhere not that he can't gain a higher PL. For a long while Krillin was weaker overall than Tien. Since he had his power unlocked he became the strongest human until Uub came along.

Cell would gain nothing from absorbing the Z fighters. Cell already has their cells. Cell states that there is no point to absorbing Piccolo, because his cells are already a part of him. He instead kills Piccolo and throws him into the ocean. (Cell absorbing goku in GT makes no sense and isn't canon, and Cell absorbing Krillin in the video game makes no sense and is also not canon.)

With all those changes, I don't think Majin Vegeta would be more aggressive because Bulma and Trunks would be around and also because If Goku didn't die on Android Saga, we probably would see some sort of sparring between him and Vegeta. Also, we don't know if all those changes would make Super Buu appear. I think we would be stuck with Fat Buu, which would end up make things easier for the Z fighters.

ok first of all, the only reason 17 and 18 come into the story is because of doctor jero (the RR scientist). Goku would hear about the two androids attacking the city and report to the problem and easily take out doctor jero, so he cant awaken 17 and 18 so they dont come into the story at all.

In the buu saga part I feel it won't happen simply due to the fact vegeta can spar with goku all day all he wants meaning him getting the majin power up won't happen simply because he wont want to have it.

I'd like to add a thought to your statement that Goku and Trunks were about the same power level when goku returned to earth. Even if that is the case, I believe Goku still would have stood a better chance against the androids given the fact that he's older and has more martial arts experience than Trunks.
Perry D Instant transmission is also a very useful technique, could catch the Androids off guard. Yes, he can't sense the Android's energy, but he could use the Z-Fighter's energy to escape.

one thing you should know : present vegeta was not "considerably" weaker than 18, he was actually holding his own...the reason he lost was because of stamina, as he was getting tired while cyborg 18 didn't.
Come to think about it. Both SSJ Vegeta and Goku completely dominated android 19.
But there is 1 major difference! Vegeta got his energy drained and thats why he didnt attack android 20 right away so he could escape when Bulma showed up with her baby Trunks & Yajirobe.
Goku however never even took damage from 19, so if Goku didnt catch the virus he wouldnt have lost a big amount of energy like Vegeta. Meaning he would be ready to take on android 20 right away. So its very possible dr. Gero wouldnt even make it back to his lab to begin with, thus ending the android saga right there.
