I am so happy you did this review and I actually came across it by chance! I just purchased the S24+ in Sandstone and have been having a hard time deciding what case to get for it because I definitely want to show off that flashy copper color just as you said 😃 I as well was bummed about Qi2 not being on the new series. And of I've never had any Magsafe accessories or car holding accessories and really wanted some for this phone. You nailed everything I have been battling with making decisions about! Thank you so much for this video!

The Samsung case is really comfortable and all but the texture starts wearing out after 1 week . I got the one with the strip on the back and purple color. It's was free with pre-order credit but not good quality.
Thanks for this info. Was thinking of buying that same colour of the Standing Grip Case for my S24 U. Will get a different type of case...
Can confirm the Samsung vegan leather case is a step back in quality. My last 2 phones had Samsung leather cases and both were excellent. The vegan case doesn't have any Samsung branding and my phone tries to come out of the case around the corners. Returning it and trying a camel colored bellroy case. Should be in in a few days.
I'm interested in that bellroy case. All my favorite cases only make them for iPhone. I found 1 other leather case for the 24u and it comes in dark brown which I like.

do these work with individual lens protectors?
That’s a good question. I have not tried them to know for sure, but looking at the cases in front of me, I do not see anything that would obstruct the lens protectors. I would apply those first of course, and then put on the case.
@@esthetech I think someone did a video on the ultra cases not fitting, but would like someone to test on the s24+.

Bellroy has a really nice genuine leather case available for about the same money as Samsung's "Vegan" leather case.
Returning my vegan case and trying bellroy. It should be here in a few days.
I got the Bellroy "leather" case. Very disappointed, the top and button are TPU, and the back is just a thin layer of leather on top of TPU.

Excuse me It's so hard to say, specifically, the "official name" of the color of the first case? There's no "purple" option when you search in Samsung's web site, and the link you put in the description goes to another color, not the one you are showing. Think about it.
Link goes to the correct color for me. It's called Violet.

Agree. I would never use the Pitaka case! I have the Torras clear case on my S24+ and am loving it. Excellent protection & good grip.
Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t make it junk. Aramid fiber is a premium material and some people want premium materials on their phone. Pitaka cases are beautiful. Not everyone is a bargain shopper, looking for the cheapest piece of plastic to protect their phones.
And for 65 bucks, sheesh
@@deeice5398lol, ironically using the Toras case on my S23 was only time in my life I've ever cracked a camera lens. I got the Pitaka when I got the Ultra and I've dropped my phone multiple times and not even a scratch on it. It has excellent protection for a minimal case. I will never buy a case that doesn't cover the camera cutouts ever again lol.
